((Note: This is a Rebellion to take control of Nan Pi from Yuan Shao, and as a relatively important thread because of it, Character Death can happen. If you get into a situation where you might die, Don't expect to live no matter what. Making this clear here, You Can Die Here.))
Xian was nearly asleep, leaning against the wall while they wait for Yuan Shao...still...It was getting on his nerves now. How could a ruler disregard his vassals to this extent? He glanced to the side where Burai was, and He could see that it bothered him as well. He'd been here for a week, maybe, at most now and He'd been kept waiting almost the entire time. You'd think a "defector" from Gongsun Zan would atleast incite some form of interest, or even a smidgeon of attention, but not with this...arrogant fool. Bringing his hand up at that thought, He traced the jagged scar on the back of his neck while his mind drifted to the idea of removing Shao and having Burai rule here. From what he'd seen, It'd be an improvement. He kept an eye on Burai while he considered this, every minute leading him to believe in it that much more. Sighing, He stood straight and stretched, debating internally about making his thoughts known to Burai, before deciding to risk it and let him know what He was considering. Moving over to Burai, He leaned on the wall next to him and spoke softly. "Burai...Have you ever considered what would happen if Yuan Shao wasn't here? Or more directly, if someoen were to...remove...him from the picture? Look around, there's barely any guards in the Palace that I can see, and I can easily get enough men here to hold it against the cities Garrison. If we struck now, before anyone could begin to suspectt, We could take the city in a day, two at the very most. Once we have control of the Palace, my men can move into the streets and subjugate the people and the garrison, those we can't convince to join us that is." Leaning back, He waited to hear what Burai thought of his, admittedly, insane plan.

Burai had been waiting for an audience with Yuan Shao, for some time now. He had seen Yuan Shu and Kong Rou. Numerous of times waiting to see Yuan Shao as well. Not so much as a letter of an apology. Burai patience was wearing thin. Xian was with him while he waited. He could see the annoyance building up within Burai.
Burai tilted his head to the side, and glanced at Xian. Burai remembered their first encounter. He had no idea that they would end up here on this road. Something seemed to be troubling him. Burais’s curiosity got the best of him. “Oy what are ya thinkin’ bout?” Xian spoke his mind revealing his thoughts. “A rebellion?”
As Xian spoke to him, Burai eyes glance at the palace. Xian had gone mad, taking over Nan Pi. Was a rather silly idea, though his words held some truth to them. “Xian, I see you put a lot of thought into this. I don’t like serving that man. You are aware. Yuan Shao has many allies. Something that we lack.” Burai lifted his trident and swung it a few times.
He thought heavily on this. Such a task was most intriguing. “To be the enemy of China once more?” This question lingered in his mind, his mentor and best friend was the ince the most hated man in all China. If Burai went along with this. He would take his first steps in surpassing Lute. Burai closed his eyes, “Seems I am bound by fate; to be the one shakes the foundation of this land."
Burai lifted his head and stared up into the sky. “How a Warrior masters his fate. Is more important than what his fate truly is.” Burai looked down at hand and clenched his fish. “Xian we are bound together by fate. Together will shall ride the rapids of chaos and face it with all our hearts. We shall form our own destiny. Starting here in Nan Pi.” Burai took his trident and pointed it at the palace. “There’s not a man and China that can withstand my might. Let us seize this moment and take Nan Pi for our own. I shall start an new era of chaos. ”

Allright guys, I just got home and I'm going to deal with this. After my post, a Mod can either announce that it goes ahead, as is, or it's over and it will be removed as if it never happened. We've been planning this for the last 4-5 days, and quite honestly, We have a high chance of success. Now, onto Jack and being in the Palace, or knowing about it otherwise. C-Box counts as OOC, and thus if you act on something you heard there you are officially commiting Meta-Gameing. We've followed every rule to a T, I personally contacted Two Separate Mods right after I posted the actual rebellion thread, It's not like We went ahead without a Mod. If Jack is in the Palace, as he claims, Then he will have to deal with Burai, Hiro, and Myself with our combined armies assaulting the Palace from within and without and (If we succeed) taking control. I don't want to hear Jack's excuses, and quite honestly I don't care. There is no rule where we cannot rebel, and there has never been a rule saying you need to plan it out exactly in a thread. We've planned this via-PM, which counts as an IC action if your characters are planning it, and we've accepted our actions and the possible consequences. We're not going to delay it to be "Fair" otherwise we might as well go back to the old system, Since you obviously don't want to uphold the "Realism" concept YOU put forth Colby. Vassals rebelled, usully without warning, frequently threwout history, and quite a bit in China.
Onto the "Numbers" problem Colby brought up. We don't have 1,000 or so men, We should have roughly 3,000 or so in our entire force. My entire 2,795 man army is within the city walls, spread out in the city. They never go anywhere I'm not, and I've mentioned that in the past. I agree to waiting until Monday so that Jack can fix his computer but at 12:00 PM (4:00 PM for Jack) on Monday, I'm posting my first aggressive action. If your going to try and either talk us out of this, or threaten us (As Jack has, with the removal of rank with no IC reason.) I will play dirty as well. Now, if there are any other complaints, LEGITIMATE complaints, Please Pm me and we'll sort it out. I would appreciate if a Mod would clean up the useless argueing that's taken part in our Rebellion Thread, So we can properly evaluate our moves and plans. If, after Monday comes, Jack has another excuse, or a Mod is still complaining, I will ignore them due to Bias and I will continue as planned, and I will email and pm Lewis about Mods showing bias for certain members. I've never tolerated Bias from mods on a forum I ran before, and I especially don't tolerate it on sites that claim to try and focus on "Realism".

Staff Ammendment
* Battle/Rebellion will commence on Monday according to the hours specified by Josh/Xian above. * Burai will be absent, since his character Burai seems to be in the coalition meeting. He is free to leave the meeting at any time, and then require the time for reinforcements to the city of Nan Pi should the rebellion already have started. Most battles work where reinforcements arrive on the 3rd or 4th round. * Zong Xian Liang and Hiro are still in the 'hall' of the palace, awaiting a meeting that never took place. Unless a thread or IC post puts them in another location they are defaulted by ruling here. * Yuan Shao, as stated previously..is within the Imperial palace, I'm guessing in the Throne Room. On Monday he can post his response after the attackers initiate a post.
Attackers, regardless of circumstance, must post first. ALWAYS.
I shall moderate the battle. Yuan Shao's army is garrisoned within the city, plus the city garrison given to him as its governor (located in city statistics).
The Rebel army is also 10 minutes away from the actual palace. be warned, this rebellion/battle will be a bloodbath I'm sure.
I shall enjoy modding it.
Post Order. Attackers. Defenders. Moderator.
This thread will be the main battle/rebellion. ^^

I shall be your moderator.
Info Xian and Hiro are within the Palace halls. Wen Chou and the Shao army are within the city. Wen Chou is in the Throne Room.
24 hour rule is applied. extensions will be granted if I am PM'd in advance with a clear reason as to why there must be a delay.

(Alrighty Let's start this ) He looked to Xian for a moment overhearing his whispers to his brother. "Are you inciting a rebellion?" He asked quietly. It was time, it was time to end this false peace, it was time to battle once more. For his brother, for his new friend Xian and for the people. He looked to the ground for a moment, then slowly closed his eyes. Darkness shrouded over his eyes, he held his blades in both hands and gripped them tightly enough where it could be heard. Was he nervous for this battle? Was he frightened of the up coming blood bath? He raise his head slowly, revealing a devilish grin on his face. It was obvious, he was excited for this battle. It was time to restore fear of the demon brothers in the hearts of his enemy. He opened his eyes slowly not yet revealing enough of his eyes, as he always did. Normally he would distaste the very thought of rebellion. And he would of like to be able to take out Gongsun Zun and make allies before allowing this to happen but Yuan Shao being the incompetent ruler that he was not only didn't care for his troops nor his people. For no reason he was stripped of his rank, absolutely ridiculous. Despite his disagreement with the plan he will he those thoughts to himself. "Sounds like a good Idea Xian..." He then looked at his brother and listened to his words. His brothers words motivated him for the battle. "Wise words my brother. But don't forget who was here first!" He said with a laugh. "Let's start this yes?" He turns and calls for his messenger. "Signal the troops to prepare for battle." He then looked to his brother. "On your call, I am ready."

Xian's face stretched into a grin that matched Hiro's when He agreed. Oh, It was time allright, and now it had begun. Looking to the side at the two guards in the hallway, He moved to go past Hiro, muttering to him as he past. "I'm going to head for the Gates, Yan and Haesten are outside. I can have them bring my entire army to the Palace within ten minutes, Think you can help me hold the gates that long?" He kept moving past him, towards the guards, resting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Once He got close enough, He pushed himself forward, His blade sliding out of it's sheathe and into the first guards chest. Ripping it out, He took a step back to avoid the clumsy thrust of the second guard's spear. Smacking the extended spear to the side, He lunged forward and buried his blade in the man's throat, before ripping it out to the side and flicking it hard enough to remove most of the blood from the blade.
Standing between the two bodies, His sword resting with it's tip against the ground, He turned back to Hiro and smiled. "Coming my friend? We've got work to do this day. Now, To the Gates." Turning back to the door the guards had been guarding, He started to push it open and move into the next room.

Burai was rushing as fast as he could. The rebellion was starting, “Hiroshi and Xian should be making their first move.” He squeezed the reigns tighter and cracked it like a whip. The horse let out a loud cry. “You can rest once we get to the city…I promised.” Burai and his noble steed blazed through the country side.
“This day shall belong to me. I will be known as the one who toppled a giant!” Burai was rather confident that he would be the victor and after this victory. Those fools at the coalition would have to recognize him. Whether it would be for the better or worse. China would once again know the name Shigure Burai. "I will be there soon, just fend them off!"

(Troops = 7.6k, Yuan Shao is in Chen Liu and Wen Chou is in control of Nan Pi whilst he is away.)
Wen Chou was walking around in side the palace. It was quite outside, quiter than usual. In fact it has never been this quite since Yuan Shao had taken over. He looked out through the window towards the palace gates, they were huge iron doors and the gates were being protected by alot of guards. "Hey, open those gates for noone, i can't be bothered with anyone today. Get some archers on the wall and some of the Royal Guards down there too, just in case someone needs to be scared away. Remember open for noone not even Yan Liang, he knows how to get in the 'other' way. Don't even open it for people trying to get out, not even for me!" The guards at the gate knew if the gates were opened they would be killed by Wen Chou so they went on high alert, archers were now stationed on the wall and 25 royal guards were placed amongst the gate guards.
Wen Chou continued to pace through the palace when he came along another guard. "Sir, there has been some deaths today. A couple of peasants have died after a dispute over some money." Wen Chou stopped to think for a moment, he didnt want Yuan Shao to think he was an incompetent leader, he wished to take over from Shao when he passed or atleast hold a high rank. "Send the defence garrison out there, all 3 thousand of them. That should stop any trouble, have them on high alert, any trouble at all they should kill the culprits. Now go, quickly! Oh tell them to go the other way out, the gate is offlimits." He ordered the low ranked guard to go get the garrison. Chou didn't want anything to go wrong, he didn't want Yan Liang, who was out policing the street, to have more respect than him. He continued to walk through the palace...

I don’t want to keep you guys waiting so here goes. The map has been created (I think) by Colby, but I had to leave and it is now past his bed-time heh. Anyways, I will throw in the map on the next round, since I highly doubt full on battalions will be used in the next round.
Some Info.
** I will be Modding this on a K/D ratio of 0.5, meaning losses will be high per encounter. I am not a fan of (3,000 arrows killing 25 soldiers) it breaks realism on every scale. Still, I won’t go 100% realisms either as that too is game-breaking on an rpg site.)
** Burai has arrived on the outskirts of Nan Pi. ** Troops are pouring out of the ‘hidden path’; all hidden paths ‘CAN’ be found, especially with thousands of troops moving through them. ** Hiro and Zong Xian Liang are trapped within the city palace. Their army is stationed near the main city gates. The barracks, owned by Yuan Shao’s city garrison of 3,000 is located a block away from the Palace.
Losses
Yuan Shao 1 Swordsmen.
No other fights were presented.
Important. It is CRUCIAL that every player post his or her army. It makes my job easier if I know who has what troops and of what ‘type’ of troop. Thank you.
Note: Try to find more logic in your actions Yuan. It seems you’re stringing anything together to try and justify your army being prepared for this. Remember, play this out IC and do not let OOC knowledge sway your posts. Failure to do so will result in me stepping in and penalizing you for cheating.

He looked outside from the palace window seeing Yuan Shao's men garrison around the palace main gate. It seemed Wen Chou was preparing for a huge scale battle but only to defend himself and the palace rather than the people. A disgraceful move if there were to be a large scale to hide from the enemy like this and probably a pain in the ass to face off against from the outside. Lucky, for him and Xian, they were inside the palace and had the element of surprise. He smirked seeing his messenger nearing the barracks where his and Xian's armies relying the order he had given the messenger. "How exciting..." He whispered silently only enough for Xian to hear as he closed the distance between them. His eyes opened slightly more, revealing more and more of the colors of his eyes, showing his excitement for the upcoming battle.
As they walked closer and closer to the gate another pair of guard had their back turn to them. "My turn...." He whispered walking a tad faster but just as silent as Xian up to the guards. He raise his hook swords and swiftly wrapped the hooks of his blade around their neck and with silent force pulled back, with a quick pair of last gasps for air their quiet sounds of choking overwhelmed until death, with the pull back he put himself in a horse stance to catch their falls with his knees not to make a sound. Removing the hooks from their neck, and pressing their head up so the blood from the neck could slow down and drip into their clothes rather than the floor. He leaned the two against the pillars on the wall near the door their helmet covering the majority of their face making it look like they were sleeping on the job. There were no wasted moves, while doing this, everything he did had a purpose. When he could of just decapitated the men he didn't he left their heads so whomever walked by wouldn't cause panic, at least until they found out but by their it would have already started. He revealed to Xian some of his skill with the blade as a sign of trust, hoping Xian would get the picture of that.
As they neared the gate he could hear the sounds of his calvary ride out of the barracks. He smiled as his men rode out. The horsemen rode as a full unit of two hundred strong, then split into two factions with 100 each faction. Armed with spears, swords a and torches. One faction rode further out the the northern part of the city the other out to the eastern part. While his archers snuck out and surrounded the the palace hidden around the neighboring houses and markets. His swordsmen by the fifties made their way to the hidden path into the palace. While Hiroshi stood at Xian's side, placing his blades into one hand and resting them onto a shoulder, light tapping. "I wonder where those horsemen are riding off too. I hope they aren't mine." He said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "After all I didn't give them any orders." A small and quiet chuckle came out as they continued to walk.

News did not travel fast where Zhen ning had lived, but it had traveled fast enough he had plenty of time to arrive to be at his masters aid. He quickly gathered up all his troops, and with in a short amount of time was ready to see what all the fuss was about. He felt a little bad that he could not make it sooner, but he could not have done anything about that, because he had simply not heard anything. Lucky there was a messenger that was still on there side, to inform Zhen. He took out his sai's and was ready for action.
It did not take Zhen long for him to arrive at the scene. He was lucky not much had gone on since he heard to news. He could not see Yuan Shao, but it seemed that his generals that were part of his main army were taking control of things for him. Zhen was unhappy to hear that men he had talked to and almost been friends with were now going up against one another. It was a very sad sight to see, because some troops had been fighting their very own family. Things had to stop right away.
Zhen was not known for being a wise man, but he was no idiot. He did not think he could talk them from stopping the fighting, but he knew that he could help and stop each and every one of them. He lined up on the battle field and soon saw all the fighting. He smiled, because he had been itching for such a fight. Although he disliked having to fight people he had known and even almost liked, something had to be done. Zhen soon lead his men to a charge at the other troops. "I can't believe you would start something without me. That is unkind of you!" He yelled out to the heavens as he ran behind his troops. "Alright, let me at those three traitors. I want their heads on the end of spears!" He yelled out to his troops.
Zhen knew that in a world like today, war was one of the only things to stop the fighting. It was sad to say, but winning was key in this era. He really wanted to fight for peace, but it was a good thing he enjoyed to fight some much. He did not have a problem killing others of another kingdom, but when it came down to his own, he disliked doing it, but would not hesitate for a second. He knew what had to be done.
He was still running, and his troops had already made it to the battlefield. Zhen Ning was ready to fight.

Xian couldn't help it, His smirk only widened as He watched from the window with Hiro as he positioned his troops in such a way as to help get his own inside, and keep the others out. His smirk vanished when He heard the sound of marching, and from the sheer volume of it, quite a bit of people marching. He moved to the other end of the room they'd entered and opened the door a crack, and nearly cursed as He saw what looked like the entire city garrison marching threw the halls. When the hell had Shao managed to get them inside?!?! Taking a deep breath, He tried to calm himself while formulating a plan to adapt. 'Allright...He's allready blocked off the main gates, and the only reason to send so many men in a group would be if there was another entrance that He planned to have them either leave threw or guard, Perhaps that could be used to get my men inside easily, as well as Burai...Yes...
Turning to Hiro, He waved him over as He kept an eye on the troops moving down the hallway. When Hiro reached him He quietly told him the new plan. "Allright Hiro, New plan. Shao, or whoever he left in charge since I havn't seen him yet, has sent the entire Garrison right past us. Now, the only reason I can think of to do that is that there's another way out, and they're being sent there. We should follow them, and if they do leave threw it, use it to send a messenger and gather my men, before we come back in. Once we're inside, I can block it off and have a few of my men guard it. Once we do that, We find Shao or whoever He left in charge, and kill him." As soon as He finished, He pushed the door open and started to move after the Garrison, staying as out of sight as He could. It took him maybe five minutes, ten at the most, to follow the Garrison to the "Other Exit" and He watched from a corner while they filed threw the doorway, and out into the streets. When He saw the last of them go threw, His psychotic grin came back full force as He moved for the exit, and quickly moved threw it. As soon as He reached the city He started looking around the nearby area for one of his own troops. It took him several minutes, but He was lucky to find one of his men gambling with some locals. Grabbing him, He dragged him off back to the "Other Exit" and gave him his orders. "Soldier. I need you to go to the Palace Gates, get Yan and Haesten, and gather the troops. I want them, quietly, to gather here and move inside as soon as they arrive. Also, Tell the Cavalry to join the other riders in the city and cause as much chaos and problems for the town Garrison as possible. Now, Go, quickly!" As soon as the man was out of sight, He ducked back into the "Other Exit"s passageway and started to wait for his men to arrive.

((I don’t get how news would travel to where ever Zhen Ning was. When no one was alerted yet. Needless to say, How would he know that there was a rebellion, and three people were involved. I’m not trying to be such a stick in the mud. I just am pointing out the obvious. Where was the fighting taking place? I don’t see how things are adding up.))
Burai had arrived at Nan Pi things seemed to be rather quiet. “Hmm? Whats going on were they defeated already…” Burai shook this thoughy quickly made his way to the barrack. He needed to get his get his troops. Once he had his troops he would inform them of his plan. He would have his men act as if they were going to quell the rebellion. Once the enemy left themselves open they would strike them down in their blind spots.
As the horse reached the barracks, Burai hopped of his horse and entered the barrack. Once he was inside he gathered the lieutenants. They all huddled together “Today we siege Nan Pi, under the name of Shigure.” A sudden gasp ran through the men. “My Lord!?” Burai placed his hand on shoulder of the lieutenant. “Rest assured, I will lead us to victory.” Burai lifted his hand and stood up straight; he turned around and looked outside. “We will invade Nan Pi, but we wont show our true intentions. Once we are inside and the enemy turns their back on us. We were show our true motives.”
The lieutenants nodded and went to inform the troops; 300 archers and 300 spearmen. Burai and his troops slowly marched toward the city gates.

Here's a rough map I did in a few minutes, It'll have to tide us over until Steve / Colby can get a better one up. Red Chunks = Rebel Troops, Yellow Chunks = Yuan Shao Troops. They're all labeled, so you can imagine each groups position compared to the Palace.
