Kumi had originally taken up residence in Luo Yang, where she worked over some of the officials or rustled their feathers by humiliating them. The Justice Ministers' son was an example of that. She always wondered what happened to him after his son was found naked, tied to a bed with no money. Kumi pondered over the different scenarios that could have played out then she stopped to laugh a little, and, as she did she looked around. She'd been so lost in her thoughts she hadn't realised that she had arrived by a small river. The river was a very clear colour and the sunlight glared off it when you looked at it. Kumi looked around once again, she was in a small patch of woodland with trees of an emerald green and sun pouring through the gaps in the leaves. She decided that she wanted to make her way closer to the river and she did, making her way down a small hill towards the river bed. It was still grassy by the river, but the river itself had a rockbed. Kumi then sat down, carefully moving her Kimono not to rip it and so that her sword didn't swing into view. Then, she lay back, turned her head to the side and closed her eyes. The sun's warmth gently caressed her face and the rest of her body as she let her thoughts drift away...

It was such a annoying day, the sun was out and beamed down on Burai’s face. It was as if the sun was draining him of all his energy. Burai was on his way back to Nan Pi and got lost. He decided to take directions from Anrui; at the time he thought it was a good idea. Seeing how they ended up near a river. Burai was more than agitated.
Anrui began to tug on Burai’s right pant leg; pulling him down the hill toward the river. She wanted to swim around and have some fun, before they continued to try and find their way home. The slowly made their way down the hill and Anrui saw a woman; she immediately jumped and ran behind Burai. She tried to pull him back up the hill.
“Oy Anrui, we came all this way. Why not relax?” Burai picked her up and placed her on his shoulders. He walked down the rest of the hill slowly and moved toward the river bed. He grabbed Anrui by the back of her shirt and put her down on the ground. She quickly moved behind Burai’s right leg. “Really Anrui, no need to be so shy. I’m sure she won’t bit…unless you ask her nicely.” Burai said with a light chuckle.
He brought his left hand behind his head, and casually scratched the back of hishead. He felt rather silly asking, “Mind if we join you?” Anrui lifted up his pant leg and pinched the back of his calf. “Anrui! I was only asking, it would be rude to intrude.” Burai tilted his head to the side and looked down at Anrui. She looked up at him angrily. “My, my..such hateful eyes is quite unbecoming of such a pretty girl.”

Kumi was still, well, tanning herself in the sun. Although not doing it very well, considering it was only on one side of her face. After realising this, she rolled over so she was lying on her back, although one side of her face would probably end up darker.
A short while after she rolled over, she could hear something in the distance. She didn't think a spot like this would stay quiet for long, but if they sat down and shut up she didn't mind too much. Then she heard voices, they weren't loud or that quiet considering they probably stood on top of the hill, she did however only hear one voice. "Ugh, crazy people. I know enough of them as it is" Kumi said, then rolled to the right, on her side, so the other side of her face that wasn't being extremely tanned could be now. And to avoid crazy people.
A short while later, she could hear the man talking again, he actually mentioned a name, so wasn't alone, the other person just didn't talk. He obviously mentioned something about Kumi, and then laughed a little, but Kumi wasn't paying attention so she didn't pick up on what was said. She still stayed on her right side, she knew they'd ask her something at one point.
Then it came: "Mind if we join you?" Kumi smiled a little and rolled to the side again, so she was once again on her back the sun glaring at her. "Why, of course not." Kumi said. She wasn't going to try and spark a conversation at the moment, she wanted sun at the moment but, she had a feeling this person was going to talk to her anyway.

Anrui tugged at Burai, she wanted to leave. Rather get away from that woman. If that was a man laying there Burai would insist on leaving. This annoyed her to no end, why did he have to be so nice and caring to women. Anrui saw a nice shaded spot at underneath a tree. She pinched Burai to get his attention; and pointed to the tree. Anrui squint her face together, as she urged him to go.
Burai smiled at the woman’s response. She seemed rather cold, but that didn’t discourage him. “She just need to have her candle lit, then things would heat up.” It was obvious he had the wrong impression, but that wouldn’t stop him. Suddenly he felt something yanking on the back of his pant leg. “Hmm?” He looked behind him to see Anrui making such a cute face, while point to a tree. “My, my no need to be jealous.” She punched in the back of his right knee. “Argh!?” Burai fell down to his right knee.
Anrui scuffed , and folded her arms and marched off to the nearby tree. A bead of sheat rolled down the side of his face. “I shouldn’t see her like that; she’ll definitely become a bitter woman.” Burai slowly rose to his feet and walked over to the tree. He turned around so that his back was facing it; he slowly sat down propping his back against it. His eyes shifting over to the woman, “What are you doing laying out in the sun like that?” [/b]

Kumi watched the proceedings between the man and the small girl. In the position she was, it would seem like her vision to that side of her was obscured, but it wasn't. Kumi put her hand on her sword and pushed it closer to her body, and her kimono fell onto it more, concealing it a little better.
She didn't know what to think of these two people. It would seem like the man watched over the girl and it would also seem the most logical answer but the girl seemed to convey a little more power over man that he did over her, even though she was young, in this day and age a sharp hand and an iron fist weren't uncommon.
Then he questioned her, Kumi thought about her response. "What do you think?" Kumi said. It sounded slightly cold and arrogant, but it's how Kumi always was. "I'm not exactly doing the rain dance, am I?" This was Kumi's way of saying she was soaking up the sun as much as she can.

Burai chuckled at the woman’s response, he simply smiled at her. Assumed those questions were rhetorical. His eye slid over to Anrui. He wanted to say something sarcastic, but feared that he would be scolded for it. Burai frowned, and made an ugly face, as if he ate something sour. Soon the look dissipated and a smile stretched across his face. “That’s a shame; I would like to see you dance.”
Anrui stared at Burai, she was curious by what he meant. She entangle her arms around his left, and leaned against it; she put most of her weight on him, resting her head on his shoulder. Burai turned his head and grinned, “Oh, is your highness comfortable? Perhaps she would want to rest her head on my lap?” Anrui blushed and shook her head slightly. Ignoring his question, she wouldn’t allow him to have his fun and tease her further.

It was at this point that Kumi sat up and brought her knees close to her, and rested her head on them. Her head facing the man and his companion. It was at this point where Kumi's sword got stuck when she moved, hitting the solid ground and showed itself, but she didn't care. It probably worked out better if people knew she could defend herself, a notion she instantly thought of when the man said he wanted to see her dance.
Kumi chuckled a little at his dance remark and two words flashed into her head. 'Desperate' and 'male,' they explain themselves. "Oooh, I'm sorry honey, you'll never get to see that kind of dance. But keep going the way you are, and you'll be dancing with my sword." Kumi said in a mocking and sarcastic tone.
She then lay back, but instead of lying flat, she left her knees up, and turner her head in the opposite direction.

Moving through a grassy area towards a river the once Wu Assassin was now a mere memory. Although he still possessed his skills he had no real intentions at the moment. For some reason he had spotted Burai not too long ago. Kaitsu wanted to get a hello in from his friend long ago. Rubbing his left cheek he would sigh slightly before stretching. His rather large great sword was mounted on his back. Glancing around he heard some noises.
Moving rather quickly he noticed some people he seemed to have never encountered before. Besides Burai two other women seem to be present. At this time the bandages covering his mouth were loosened so that his mouth was now visible. Sighing softly he would slowly approach the three as he wondered why they were all here. Rubbing his head gently he would part is lips.
"Ah Burai...how are you?" He spoke calmly then looked at both women individually and would greet them as well. "Hello to you," he was looking at Kumi, "and hello to you," Now he was looking at Anrui.

Burai glanced over at the woman, and then at her sword; just his luck, to find himself next to another belligerent woman. He let out a brief sigh, and decided to get more comfortable. “So quick to threaten, how boring.” Burai rather just talk and mingle. His eyes lowered as he looked at the woman. “If you can provide me with a decent challenge? I would gladly dance with you.” He slowly rotated his shoulder; in a clockwise fashion. Causing Anrui to left her head and stare at him in confusion.
Burai looked down at Anrui and then to his trident, he stretched out his hand to grab it as he seen a familiar face. “Hmm?” He heard his name; Burai turned his head to the side to see who called out to him. A person was walking toward him; they carried a rather large sword on their back. Burai tried to register everyone who he had met, that would wield such a blade, but no one came to mind. As the figure got closer Burai brought his hand back to his lap. His eyes squinted at the figure, which turned out to be a man. Burai looked at the man’s face. “Kaitsu, is that you?”

~Wei Ning~
~Wei stopped moving along the forest in thought as he heard voices, he blinked a moment knowing one voice for sure, Burai's. With this information he ventured silently towards the group scanning the trees around himself curiously.~
~Upon reaching the small clearing slowly he ept to himself and watched from his position. His hues moved from person to person. Taking in their builds and attire. Whisering to himself "Heh, quite an adiance here." He chuckled softly to himself as he watched for the moment on what was to come.~
~He'd hope his position would stay consealed for the most part for now. He wasn't here to make trouble but he had no clue how Burai would react to his presents, since last time they crossed paths.~
