Being a princess of such a beautiful nation wasn't exactlly what everyone expects it to be. Being unable to go out in the streets without a single worry of being kidnapped, but ebing trained by some of the most experienced martial artists in the nation made Shangxiang a fearless woman. Some say that she has a warrior''s soul trapped inside her magnificently beautiful vessel of a body, but she was like any other girl inside. Many wouldn't dare see whats under her flesh.
Today she wanted to get out of her princess duties and go out again, but not like before. A city away right by the ocean was the best place to relax. She walked up to a nice cliff hanging a few feet from the water's surface. Inside the cliff was a cavern made by the weathering and erosion of the water on rock. She dipped her feet in the somewhat warm water as clear as crystal. A feeling of release swept through her body and a sigh of relief slipped out of her lips. Her muscles had been very tense lately with all the helping she had done with the local people.
She looked up and saw a bit a sun shining on her hair. A bit further down loked a bit ominous like a storm was about to arrive, but she didnt care. " Heh... It's not like I'm going to melt. A lil rain would be better than that dark house." A smile formed on her face as she was enjoying the freedom of being a sneaky princess.

Burai was out in the rain trying to escape the run. It was just his luck to find himself out when those ominious black clouds began to take shape. He was not dressed for such weather and if he caught a cold Anrui and his brother would definitely scold him. “What an unfortunate day I am having. Why can’t I just get a brea-” He tripped over a stump in the road, and landed on his face.
Burai lifted his head from the dirt and saw a woman off in the distance; he slowly staggered to his feet. Placing his left foot oddly on the ground, and then placing his other foot forward. Burai took a few steps forward to regain his balance and walked toward the woman. Rubbing his face with his forearm trying to remove all of the dirt. Once he was a few feet away from her he spoke in a kind tone.“Oy excuse me, but you wouldn’t know where I could find shelter. Perhaps you could accompany me? It’s always better to travel with someone.”

As the Princess of Wu was relaxing her sorrows away she heard a loud noise coming from the sky. She took in a deep breath and made a painful sigh. " Right when I was getting comfortable the sound of thunder decides to ring through the skies." She whispered under her breath. She shooked her head in disappointment and kept trying to calm herself down. " Maybe the storm will wait to pass over before it starts to rain." She narrowed her sight towards the direction the clouds were coing from. There was no sight of the clouds ending. Once again she sighed and just sat there. A drop of cold water feel from the sky and onto her lap. It sent a frigid chill up her spine and made her shiver a bit. She turned her attention to the barrage of frigid rain falling towards her.
As she sat there drenched in a cold layer of water with rain still falling down harshly, she heard something splash harder than just some rain. It was hard to tell with al the rain making an ominous noise and the thunder booming from above. She grabbed the handle of a knife she usually carried inside a sheath on the calf of her leg. She stood up to her feet and before she turned around she heard a voice coming fromt he direction of the splash. It wasn't an ominous or malicious kind of voice which eased her hand off of the knife. She turned around and saw a man who looked as if he was lost. The words he said clarified it. She walked away from the cliff for 5 feet. " I'm headed to the closest village I found when I was on my way here. It's about a half a mile from here, would you mind the walk?" She said in a soft and friendly tone. She smiled at the traveler so he wouldn't feel worried about walking with a total stranger. She knew how that felt while walking around the city with guards her father assigned to her. She started to shiver and a bit and huddled her arms close to her chest. " We better hurry before either one of us gets sick." She said while moving her cold wet hair out of her face.

Burai sighed as it started to pour. “What a pain…” He continued to walk toward the woman, until he was a few feet away. As he watched the woman stand up to greet him. Burai was too busy concerned with the weather to pay attention to her and her weapon. Burai listened to her talk about another village, but his eyes were scrolling her up and down; it wasn’t often you get to see a woman wet out in the rain. She asked him a question, this caught him off guard. He definitely didn’t want to get caught gawking at her. “Ah, um Sure?” He said nervously, looking away.
He took a moment to recall what she was talking about. “Ah, ok…Let’s get going.” Burai’s eyes stared at her chest as she huddled her arms together. He quickly diverted his eyes elsewhere. “I’m terrible.” he hung his head down low, in shame. He tried his best to behave and control his immoral outburst, but this rain and her innocent actions weren’t helping.

Shangxiang looked at the estranged traveler stare her up and down. She thought this was just another cold hearted pig wanting something other than shelter. " Wow... and people wonder why this war started in the first place." She thought to herself. Most of these so called honorable warlords got there grudges through denial of woman. Men were such arrogant wastes of space when it came to a woman. She rolled her eyes knowing he wouldnt be paying any attention to her. " Follow me and stay close, the rain is pouring down hard enough to blind our sight." She informed.
She began walking towards a dirt road that had 2 walls made of stone of both sides. The trees overhead covered the top of the valley-like stricture which prevented most of the rainfall from seeping through. " That path looks better than heading straight for the city. Would you mind taking a bit of a detour?" She said in a joking tone. She knew he wouldn't mind being around a beautiful princess such as she was. She started walking along swaying her body side to side like those woman who like to show off their "perfect" bodies. This was a small vacation for her so why not have a little fun in the rain?

Burai looked at the woman embarrassed; it seemed as if she was aware of his wandering eyes. She said something about saying close. Burai only nodded in response; he was trying to find something to sway his thoughts, of such impurities. “C’mon, I was doing so well as of late. Suddenly the gods place this beauty in front of me and she is wet, her body is glistening from the droplets of rain rolling down her porcelain skin.” Burai eyes wandered harmlessly back to the woman.
She began to walk down the road; just his luck she found a path. Before he could answer she walked off swaying her hips from side to side. Hypnotizing Burai his mind was in a daze; he could feel some of the most primitive feelings rise and to swallow him. Burai slapped his face lightly. To get a hold of himself, such a woman would be dangerous to get involved with. He casually cracked his neck, bringing his trident on his shoulders and resting his head on it.
“Lead the way; I will do my best to keep close to you. I already have one bad eye.” He said pointing to his eye patch. “If what you say is true I will need you to huddle close to me and guide me. But don’t get too friendly, we are strangers..” Burai said in an alluring voice. He hoped that she would be willing to help him through the path.

As they got closer to the tunnel-like entrance of the passage way, she knew she had caught the man's eyes along with a much dominate emotion. Lust was one of those deadly sins that could nearly drive you too insanity. Shangxiang had known this experience frist hand. She had fallen in love with a man who was part of her father's court. She had many complex and conflicting emotions about the whole thing. She questioned herself and persuaded herself that this feeling was just her being alone for so long. Her father protected her from ever falling in love with any kind of man.
She felt bad about playing with this man's hormones like that. He was only acting on his human nature. She quit the act of being an eager, selfish, girl and started acting more her age. She was glad that she was wearing enough clothes to where no one could see anything under all the wet fabric. She was smart enough, or more concealing, than most women in China. Most wanted to wow any rich man and get married young, but she knew how it was to work for money. She even offered shealter to those who were less fortunate and had nowhere else to stay. This war had left many innocent people homeless, especially Shangxiang's half-sister , Sun Qing Liang, who now lives with her in the Family's house.
She looked up from the tunnel and observed the rainfall. The trees were doing a good job with keeping the rain from pounding against the weary travelers. She heard the man talk after she was done with her observations. " I'll try to restrain myself for you." She joked. This walk wouldn't take very long so she thought about keeping the talking to a minimum. She didn't want to get too involved in someone she hardly knew. She quietly took her steps along the small valley with only the lightning stikes guiding the way through. It was good that the lightning was more like a constant boom.

Burai let out a long sigh as they came up to a tunnel-like passage way. Traveling through a short-cut with a pretty woman; this had the perfect set up for a bad story. A chill went up and down his spine. He gripped his trident firmly. “Just my luck…” Burai casted another glance at the woman, how did she know of such a route? Questions arose in his mind, and sudden doubts were placed. He took another moment to examine her thoroughly. “Well…whatever happens, she is definitely worth it.” He grinned to continued to grin to himself as Thoughts of him being tied up enter his mind; he was her victim, and she was playing with him gently.
His nose suddenly began to bleed; he looked away from her embarrassed. She spoke to him as he was looking off in the opposite direction. Burai covered his nose, “I won’t blame you if you can’t.” he said a charming voice. Burai looked back at her to see her walking; he stared at her frame, his body was still, but his eyes followed every curve and ripple. She was getting a good distance ahead of him. Burai snapped out of the trance. “OY! Wait up!"" He yelled, as he began to run after her.

As she walked through this shortcut, she began to feel strange. She didn't even know this man's name and yet she was adventuring with him for awhile. The way to the city was a long road and she didn't know what could possibly happen. She didn't have a clue about what this man could be capable of, yet she still took him with her. "What is so special about him that I feel comfortable enough to journey with him a ways?" She thought to herself. She looked back at the man. " What is your name." She asked. She kept walking so they wouldn't watse anytime. She knew that the man wanted to get to shelter a lot more than she did.
Shangxiang loved the rain and thought of herself a lot like it. A free form substabce that is free to do whatever it needs to to get to where it is destined to be. That was a text book definition of who Shangxiang was. A princess of beauty and intelligence, but a wonderous woman of adventure and love to few. She found no need to hurry and get married, and always believed in true love. She would always tell Liang about love in hopes of cheering her up, but Liang was one to think of herself as unlovable. That girl mad Shangxiang sad when she was around her, but as her sister she felt that it was her job to make her feel happy no matter what.
As she waited for his response she kept wondering about if her parents found out that she was gone. There were one of those people who knew something was bad even before it happens, so Shangxiang was in for some trouble when she got home. She figured she would get to know this man so maybe she could stay in the city for a few days. She felt sorry for Liang because most of the time when Shangxiang wasn't home they would yell at Liang for not keeping a better eye on her. She felt bad for Liang since she’s always sad, she didn't need to have her adopted parents on her all the time. Sometimes Shangxiang would take Liang with her and they'd both get in trouble.

Burai mimicked her stride and to keep up with her. Though it was very strange for two strangers to randomly set off with each other through this questionable terrain. His eyes couldn’t refrain from her figure. This created an awakward aura around him. She asked him of his name, “Oy isn’t rude to ask a stranger their name, without introducing yourself first?” He said with a smirk. “My name is Shigure Burai, perhaps you heard of the name? If you haven’t I wouldn’t blame you…Tell me what is the name of the goddess before me?”
He took a moment to flick the tip of his nose with his indec finger. Surely a beautiful woman like her would know of his name. Burai stood still and struck a pose flexing his biceps awaiting her answer even though/ He already knew that it was clear that she would he of his incredible feats, which rivaled the gods.
