Name: Ba Zeng (Epitaph: "The Tyrannical") Style: Custom Class: Strategist Type: Schemer Gender: Male Alliance: ---
Charge or Spells: Omitted
Personality:
Ba Zeng is a self-serving ambitious man with passionate dreams of grandeur. He carries himself with a degree of high-handedness that would likely bother most - or all - of his colleagues. He considers his intellect to be far superior to others, whether true or not. Ba Zeng has no real sense of loyalty to any master, and stays only loyal to himself. It is not like Ba Zeng, however, to be bought with coin. It is his personal duty to impress others around him, by doing so, hoping to gather a sense of authority in his camp.
Appearance:
A tall man with a cold glare, Ba Zeng is a twenty-seven year old with a slender, yet fragile, build. As a scholar and politician, Ba Zeng has had no real need to form his physique as a warrior, perhaps neglecting his body of any extra muscle. Despite his seemingly nonthreatening build, Ba Zeng has about his an air of authority and control. His eyes are of a muddy brown color, his face is devoid of a beard, and his hair is shorty cut, soft and flat.
Ba Zeng's main wardrobe is a compilation of many robes. On a casual day, Ba Zeng may look like a rural farmer; dressed in a dirty, worn robe and cloak. And to government processes, ornate robes of many bright colors.
In battle, Ba Zeng would wear a normal battle garb of a general, to distinguish his authority on the battlefield.
History:
Born to a rich noble class family in Chang An, Ba Zeng's father instilled in Ba Zeng a great education. Though not present during Ba Zeng's early life, Ba Zeng loved his parents and his father instilled in Ba Zeng a sense of ambition. To always want to grab more for yourself than you really need. Ba Zeng's father sent him away to one of the greatest academies in the Central Plains. Ba Zeng became utterly involved in military tactics and history, reading Sun Tzu's text under candle light at night before sleeping. He would dream of winning great battles and be praised as one of the greatest commanders ever. It was during his stay at this academy where he befriended a very different man.
That mans' name was Shen Ha, a person with almost very different morals and dreams, a person who shared wealth and took physical training seriously. Shen Ha was the only individual Ba Zeng carried respect for. After Ba Zeng left the academy he went back to Chang An, and lost contact with Shen Ha.
Discontent with his idle life and his parents, at the age of nine-teen Ba Zeng left his wealthy luxurious life in Chang An to peruse a political career in Tian Shui. Where he worked his way up from being the governor's assistant to an advisory domestic minister. He is also seldom relied on to become a commander in the Wei army.
Weapon:
Dual Kukri:
A knife usually used as a utility knife by the native people of Nepal. The knife has a long inward curve that is designed to act as a weight to fall on the opponent fast and with a great amount of power. The weapon is intended for slashing and chopping, but can stab if needed. A Kukri is a utility knife that is used for exclusively fast slicing. Thrusting and impaling are awkward motions for this short blade, and should be used for fast, slashing attacks.
Bodyguards:
Kao Ba:
An enigma, Kao Ba is the man behind the curtain. Hardly a commander or leader; Kao Ba focuses on serving Ba Zeng's need of a physical warrior. Trained as a ninja, Kao Ba is proficient in all manners of weapons, but prefers to fight with dual Sai, and, if needed, uses shuriken to deal with enemies at a medium to close range.
Kao Ba is a veiled man, no part of his skin shows at any time. He is covered by a leather armor that covers his body from his torso to the soles of his feet. This armor is as dark as an abyss, and quite light-weight. A large black cloak envelopes the petite figure of Kao Ba, and the hood is usually always pulled over his head, which is covered by a black cloth that is just transparent enough to make out the color of Kao Ba's skin.
