Remorse?(Quest)[Finished]

Murder, hate, vengance, war, backstabbing...these are the things that makes the world go round. People might say that peace is what is turns the world but there is no thing as peace. Peace, is just a thing that people wish they could achieve. In reality, peace could never exist for a long amount of time. It is human's nature to fight. We are like animals, who needs to fight to survive. They want to feel dominant over other animals. That is how humans are. Bandits are defiently part of that chain.

Bandits were placed on this planet for one reason and one reason alone...chaos. Bandits thrive on chaos, they sleep with it. The bandits are just another reason why peace can never exist. The bandits one job on this earth is to make sure fighting is always going on. If there is always fighting then there is no peace. It is now my job to be the thing they fight, and be the LAST thing they fight.

Rumor has it that Jiang Zhou has a giant bandit problem. The bandits are atacking the cities' supply line and if nothing is done about it, the city will crumble from famine. Zhi Fang has heard, and has answered the call. It shall be Zhi that frees this city from the bandits that have a strong hold on it.

Zhi arrived in the city of Jiang Zhou, wasting no time, rushing straight to the palace to meet the person controling the city. Zhi kept looking around him, the bandits must not know about him. He wanted to have the element of surprise when he fought the beasts. Zhi rushed past the gurads at the palace and walked up to the throne. Bowing, Zhi said,"Greetings my lord. I am Zhi Fang, I have heard your call for help and I have come to eliminate the bandit group terroizing you." The governer, pleased to have his call answered so quickly replied,"Thank you Zhi Fang. We won't last much longer if these bandits go unchecked. The bandits, according to intelligence from my spies, are camped up in the mountains north of here. They will not be hard to track down, I trust in your abilities to find and eliminate them."Zhi bowed again and he turned around and exited the palace without another word. There was no time to waste on talking. Now was the time for action!

Zhi got on his horse and right before he kicked his horse to go, thunder roared, lighting stiked, and it started to pour rain like it never had before. Zhi looked up towards the sky, enjoying the feel of he rain touching his face. Zhi then looked staright again, and kicked his horse to go. The rain would make it a little more difficult to find them, seeing as Zhi could barley see his hand in front of him, but no bandits could hide from Zhi Fang."Watch out bandits, your death has come!!"

"GET THE FOOD INSIDE BEFORE IT GETS RUINED BY THE RAIN...NOW!!!"The bandits ran around, grabbing as much food as they could as the ran the food into the storage rooms. They were about to enjoy an amazing feast, to celebrate how lucky they have been to take away the food from the weak city of Jiang Zhou. Though it was ruined by the pouring rain. Though, unkown to them, something far worse than the rain was coming to them, something that they could not take so easy.

Zhi stooped to the ground as he took a look at a large group of footprints. It had to be the bandits, it just had to be. Zhi found the trail fast, and every step he took brought him a lot closer to the main camp of the bandits. Zhi ran with great speed, with very light steps, which made a sound only because of the puddles that were on the ground. Zhi rounded a coner and he wnet behind a rock to give him cover. Zhi took a quick look and at once he knew he had found the camp. Zhi got a little closer to the camp and he hid behind a rock closer to the camp.

Zhi surveyed the camp, looking for any sentries. After a quick look, Zhi found two bandits pratrolling the camp. He watched them a few times, learing their route that they were taking. The path led them away from the camp, far enough that nobody would hear them die. Zhi followed them to that point. After a few seconds they turned around to head back to the camp but they turned around to a blade right in front of them. Without hesitating, Zhi swung his sword, slicing one bandits throat. He then pulled out a dagger from his belt, and plunged it right between the eyes of the other bandit. They both fell, never to get up again.

Zhi knew that their dissaperance would not go unnoticed. He had to act quickly. Zhi still had the element of surprise. It was getting dark outside, without the help of the pitch black rain clouds hovering above them. They would be going to bed shortly. Zhi, crept up to the side of a small tent. He put his ear up on the tent to hear voices, three to be exact. Zhi picked up a large stone, he crept up towards the side of the entrance to the tent and he threw it across the tent entrance. Zhi than raced to the back of the tent and quickly put his balde into it and cut a hole into it. Zhi entered the tent and pulled out two more daggers. As soon as they came back to the tent, after checking to see what made that noise outside. Two were greeted with daggers flying at them. Before they had time to react, they made conact, silencing them forever. Zhi leaped towards the thrid man and impaled him before he could yell for help. Zhi then supported the man to the floor. Zhi took back one dagger, the other was loged in a bone and cold not be pulled out. Zhi raced out of the tent and went back to the rock he started at.

Zhi did the same thing to two more tents. They both went perfectly. He tried the same thing on the next tent, but things did not go according to plan. Zhi took out one bandit but the other dagger somehow missed it's target. Before Zhi could reach them both, they yelled at the top of their lungs,"INTRUDER ALERT!!!"Though before they finished it, Zhi cut them down, but the warning was heard. Zhi ran out of the tent to face two bandits, armed and ready. Zhi ran towards them, the bandits swung at him, but they were off the mark...by a lot. Zhi took that oppurtunity to slice one bandit's head off and almost cut the other one into two.

Out of nowhere, there was a burst of pain coming from Zhi's leg, he looked down to see an arrow attached to it. Zhi ran as fast as he could behind cover. Since it was still pouring rain, it would take the bandits a little while to find Zhi, so he had some time to look at his wound. Biting at the pain, Zhi pulled the arrow out. Zhi then bandaged the wound and got back up and tried to learn where those archers were located. They could not be too far because an arrow could not travel to far with the rain hitting the arrows so hard. Zhi raced around the edge of the camp. Zhi found where they were located. He raced towards them, hoping that they did not notice him. Though they did, and while they put another arrow on their bows, they yelled that they found the intruder. Zhi dodged the arrows and did a 360 spin as he got next to the archer. When he faced him, he quickly cut him down. Zhi then looked ahead of him, and with a quick flash oflightning, he saw that the rest of the bandits were ahead of him. Quickly, Zhi grabbed the dead archers bow and started to shhot bandits down. After seven quick shots, the bandits were upon him.

Zhi threw the bow down and swung his sword. The two swords connected, and it seemed like the bandits sword was made with cheap metal because it broke on contact. Wasting little time, Zhi plunged his sword into the shocked bandit's torso. His blood splattered on the ground. Then there was a loud yell, a yell for vengance."FACE ME ONE ON ONE AS SEE HOW YOU FARE!!"Zhi decided that he must be the bandit chief. Zhi walked foward and a circle surrounded him and the bandit chief.

The bandit leader rushed towards Zhi, swinging his massive battle axe around like a maniac. Zhi had no trouble dodging it but there was no opening for a counter. Zhi would just have to keep dodging, waiting for an opening. After a couple of minutes, he found that opening. The bandit did a giant horizontal swing. Zhi crouched and thrust his sword into the chiefs belly. Zhi quickly pulled it out as he realized that the man was still standing. The bandit kicked Zhi hard, pushing him away a couple of feet. As the bandit took a few steps foward, he started to become ill. He looked down at his wound, looked back up at Zhi, and with a horrid look on his face, he collapsed onto the ground. Never to get up again. Darkness...forever...

Horrified by their leaders demise, the bandits became scared. Their leader was the strongest man in all of China, how could he have been beaten so easily. Not wanting to experience the same fate as their leader, theyall began to run. Trampling their own, they ran away from the demon of a man tehy thought Zhi was. Zhi did not let them escape though. Zhi followed and killed almost all of them. Out of the 150 bandits that there were before this even, only 20 remained alive. Some running to a new bandit group, some hiding, hoping to never face that evil man again. Some actually joined him, wanting to be under the control of this powerful man.

Zhi wrote a note and gave it to the few bandits that joined him. He told them to deliver the note to Jiang Zhou. They did so, once the Governer read the note he had the bandits executed. The note read...
"Dear Governer, these men are all there is left of the bandit group. Please send your reward to the place we discussed earlier. Oh, and do whatever you wish to do with the bandit scum that are carrying this letter. Sincerly, Zhi Fang."
