So, I am a HUGE fan of the COD series and I have been looking into Black Ops and it looks really good. Is anybody really excited about this game as I am? Also, how good do you think this game will be? Better than MW2? Not as good as MW2 or any other COD games?

I like CoD too, but surprisingly Modern Warfare 2 did not have the lasting appeal of World AT War. I'm not really sure why but it just didn't. Black Ops does look pretty good, better than MW2 at least.
Probably better than MW2. I've never really enjoyed the Modern Warfare games.
All in All, I'd rather wait for Medal of Honor.

Bash on me all you want on this matter, but to be honest, I'm not really looking forward to Black Ops after Treyarch declared their participation in place of InfinityWard. Which means that there is an extremely high chance that they will bring in a majority of the WaW factors into this game as a sort of follow-up, as IW did with MW/MW2. It's not like I hated WaW, but it just didn't appeal to me as much as the others did, especially with CoD4 setting up a near impassable line right before it. Maybe it's just the WWII setting, or whatever, but I still prefer the MW games.
I'll probably still play Black Ops just because it's a Call of Duty game, but I really don't expect it to surpass CoD4.
