"It needs to be done! They are growing stronger everyday and if we don't stop them, then it will be impossible to stop them.""I agree but why must I do it alone? You know how big they are, it is impossible to defeat them alone. Anyways, why me?""You are the only one capable that is why! You know that you fool! You can come up with something that will succede, I just know it. Anyways, we can't take our chances with more than one person. It needs to be done fast, and done quietly.""I am not sure if I will be able to completly destroy Iron Crown, but I will try to cripple it."
That was the conversation that happened a little while ago. A local governer was getting worried by the ever-expanding Iron Crown. Zhi realized how much of a threat Iron Crown was to all of China. They had to be stopped, and it seemed like it had to be Zhi who did it. Zhi's job was to destroy Iron Crown. If he could not do that, then he was to at least cripple it. Zhi already had a plan on how to do that.
Present Day
--------------------------------------------------
Zhi overlooked the city of Xia Pi. This was the place he needed to attack. A once peaceful city, now a Military Fortification. Nothing came in or out without the king knowing about it. Zhi would use that to his advantage."You know the plan, don't you? Now go!"The Peasent nodded his head, put the large amount of gold into his pocket and ran towards the gates of the city. With him, a large black bag, a bag that Zhi hopes the city guard will take.
"Halt!! Empty out your bag sir!"The Peasent did as he was told. He pulled the bag off of his shoulder, opened it up, and tossed it at the guard. The guard took a look inside and looked back at the man."Arrest this man for attempt of Arson!! You take this bag into our barracks."He took another look inside of the bag, and when he looked inside, he saw black, just black. He put his hand through it, it was what he thought it was...black powder. This stuff was very flammable, and very dangerous. It was a good thing that the guards caught it in time before it was put to use. Though if the guard put his arm in the bag a little farther, he would have felt the sharp tip of a sword...Zhi's sword.
Zhi waited the alloted time, and then rode down towars the cities gates."Hello good sirs. I am a weary traveler who could use a well deserved rest. Could I sleep in your beautiful city of Xia Pi for the night?""Check him! Sorry, we have to make sure you are not a threat to our city."Two guards went past the guard that spoke and went right up to Zhi as he dismounted from his horse. Zhi had purposely ridden his horse tired, so he could pass as a weary traveler, just like he said he was. The two guards patted him down, every, single, inch of him. After a little bit, they nodded and the head guard got out of the way, allowing Zhi to enter the city. As soon as he passed the main guard, Zhi smirked the most evilist smile. They had just let in the thing that would bring this city to it's knees!
Zhi had learned, from an inside source that all confiscated items were held in the guards barracks. The guards would eat lunch at noon, and then they would all leave to go patrol. There would be only two or three guards there at the barracks at all times. Zhi would have to deal with them first. Zhi began walking towards the barracks, trying to blend in with the crowd. Zhi got there in time to see all of the guards leave the barracks. Zhi also learned from his source the patrol pattern of the few barrack patrolers. Zhi waited until no guards would see him, he then went into the barracks front door. He wouldhave two minutes to find the bag before the guards patrolling came inside the barracks.
"Where is it?"Zhi looked everywhere and he could not find it. He had one minute left to find it. Finally, Zhi found it. Zhi quickly picked the bag up, put it on his shoulders, and ran out of the barracks with thirty seconds to spare."Wooh that was close!"
Zhi took his supplies to his room inside the inn. Zhi took out his sword out of the bag. He also pulled out three medium sized bowels, that he woulduse to carry some of the black powder. Zhi then waited until it was dark and everybody was inside asleep. Zhi would strike at midnight!
After a wait that seemed would last forever, midnight fell upon the city of Xia Pi. Zhi put on his ptch black clothes, put his sword onto his back, and put balck powder in each bowl he had. He opened up the window of his room, and climbed up onto the roof. Zhi then jumped to the adajcent roof and when he got there, he bgan to pour some of his powder from one of his bowls on to the roof. He did this to a couple more roofs until he needed to go back to his room to refill on powder. An hour passed and Zhi had almost put powder on every single roof. He put most of the powder on the roof of the barracks though. Finally out of powder, Zhi returned to his room. He was as silent as the night, and he blended in perfect with the darkness of night.
Zhi pulled out a couple of torches, and he walked out of the inn through the front door. Zhi lit the first torch and threw it at the closest roof. As soon as the flame hit the roof, it was engulfed in flames. Zhi then burst into a run with great speed, lighting his torches and throwing them up onto the roofs. The flames spread like wildfire. After only a couple of minutes, almost every single house was ingulfed in flames. Zhi's next job was to make sure the barracks burned.
Zhi got there to see that it too was in flames, but several guards got out before they were engulfed by the flames. Zhi pulled his sword from his back and charged at the closest guard. The guard was still in shock from the sight of the city of Xia Pi in flames, that he could not react to Zhi when he impaled the guard right through the stomach. Quickly pulling the blade out, Zhi ran towards the next guard.
The next guard was more prepared, and he swung his sword at Zhi defensively, though he was off by a long shot and Zhi quickly cut him down. Two guards ran at Zhi, throwing their spears at him and pulling out their swords. Zhi let his legs give out beneath him, allowing him to fall fast enough so the spears went over his head. Zhi, still on the ground, pushed his feet on the ground, which pushed him forward as he went past the two guards. Zhi got a slice in on one of the guard's hamstring, and they fell to the ground, screaming in pain. The guard swung his sword downward at Zhi, Zhi put his sword up and their swords went into a weaponlock.
The remaining three guards there began running at Zhi, who was distracted by the current guard he was facing. With all his strenght, Zhi pushed up on his blade, with both of their weapons above their heads, Zhi used his free right arm to do a hard upward swing at the guards crotch. Automatically, he dropped his sword, and Zhi grabbed the guards sword and shoved it into his throat.
Zhi pulled the dead guard down and used him as a shield as the three other guards spears lunged down into the dead guards back. Zhi then pushed the guard, throwing it at the guards. With some time, Zhi quickly got up and he ran towards the citie's gate. Though right before he turned around to run, an arrow shot deep into Zhi's body. Not even feeling it, Zhi ran towards the gate, with the arrow pointing straight out of Zhi's chest. Luckly, all the guards patrolling the gate left to go put out the fires. So Zhi went through the front gates and he got up on his horse that was waiting for him as they began to ride far away from the city.
An hour later
-------------------------------------
Zhi stopped when he was far away from the city. Zhi looked down at the city as it burned with a mighty fire. Zhi felt a drop of water fall from the sky, and as soon as Zhi looked up at the sky, it began to pour rain."Well, they will get some help stopping the fires."Zhi then looked down at his chest, realizing that there was an arrow there. All of a sudden, Zhi began to feel a sharp pain in his chest. Zhi fell backwards, with a tree breaking his fall. Zhi quickly pulled out the arrow, and he began to bandage up the wound. He would be injured for about a month, but it would heal."Well, I think I deserve a rest..."Suddenly, Zhi passed out from the blood lose. Though he passed out with a smile on his face. Zhi had not destroyed Iron Crown, but he had severly crippled it, hopefully to a point to where it could not recover.
