Sun Ce and his minor standard of 100 Royal guards made their way into the city, he had convinced his father that fighting these people would not be needed, they were but a small force of peasants, and standing against them would only prove to be both totalitarian, but also low for the standards Wu. Sun Jian had agreed that simply asking the citizens to accept the Sun family as their leader would be the best course of action, and that without much military opposition there would be no need to bring an army, a personal guard would be more than enough. Dong Xi followed next to Ce, both on horseback as Xi scowled DX: My lord i still say we should have come in greater numbers, Liu Biao or Huang Zu could be hunting your head and we know better than this. Ce only smiled and laughed, as he often did when faced with a potentially life threatening situation. this was not his first, nor would it be his last, venture without much protection. "Dong Xi, take the guards and disperse throughout the city, no need to alarm everyone with a mob of soldiers, and most importantly relax huh? i mean come on we don't get opportunities like this often, lets enjoy the time here while we have it, get some work done, and worry about possible assassins later" Xi was visibly upset at Ce's complete disregard for his own safety, however he followed orders telling the men to find another area to stand and walk, this way they would blend better with the villagers and have less of an impact on their nerves.
Ce knew that the Governor of Jian Ye had left to fight the turbans, and since their was no current lord presiding over Jian Ye it was time for the Sun to take action. Throughout Jiang Dong they were known for being a wealthy and famed family, the readings of Sun Tzu still available in the local community centers. so it is no coincidence that when Ce took stage on the platform from which the governor would address the city that many citizens would gather. In addition to this many of Ce's own men were spreading word of an announcement to the people, one that would be revolutionary and surely have a powerful outcome.
At this point a crowd of at least half of the town had been summoned with more coming as Ce spoke, no doubt they were aware of the danger they were presented with staying as a nation with only minimal guard.
Ce's speech was one of depth, although he was only 17 his deep knowledge of persuasion through class and experience had given him the prowess he needed to speak to such a massive crowd.
"Hey, People! My name is Sun Ce of the Sun family, as our ancestor Sun Tzu has done, and as my father Sun Jian has proven in Wu, we are a powerful family! Our hopes have always been set to a high standard, out with the tyrants, and in with the love and virtue that our very first Emperor founded our country on. Greed, and power has led for both corruption of government, but the weakening of our very own Han dynasty, on now two occasions Wu has been forced to offer its aid to our Emperor whom without us surely would have been unsuccessful. I do not suggest that we are rebels against him, however until the Emperor is capable of taking care of us as a nation he will need more help than he is willing to accept. That is why i am here, to humble our lord and show him that as a nation we can thrive without his constant eyes tearing over us. As a family the Sun will always honor the mighty Mandate from Heaven, but in order to do so we must first give our all to show prosperity in the eyes of our fellow nations. With pirates to the south, Tyrants to the north, and savages to the east, where else is there for Jian Ye to turn? I say to you, the people and future of china, turn to the West, and we will show you protection from the evil that tears at our nation, from the dark powers from the underworld whom rip at the very fabric of china, let us take part in the revolution to save our dear nation, Follow the Sun family, with our mighty force and valor, and lets take out those who oppose justice and honor!" Shooting his fist in the air Ce is not able to clearly read the audience, such a large group of citizens had gathered, weither they were cheering or booing was not clearly shown, Ce however could not be concerned with potential failure, only with the prospect of tomorrow. "If you fight for the land you live in, and for your family then come now with me!"

The People are moved by Sun Ce's speech and take up arms to join his cause.
Fame 15 Honour 5 Diligence 10
500 Peasants join Sun Ce.
A Rebellion has broken out in this area! You must now decide upon how to deal with this problem and how to take down the current leader of this area. Jian Ye is cut in two as one half of the city desires the Sun family whereas the other half are committed to their previous leader. "What can the Sun family offer us that will make us join them? Our current leader will protect us! We don't need this kid stealing our Lord's land!" One man shouted within the crowds, some heads nodded in agreement whereas others shook their heads in dismay. "Our Lord cannot defend this city! Those pirates will get us for sure! The Sun family know military tactics that will protect us. They can offer a better future!" Another man spoke, swiftly the crowds where torn between the two sides of the argument. Soon enough some of the towns people turned to Sun Ce and offered their services whilst those who rejected the Sun family moved away and cried out their hatred. The guards of the city watched with eager eyes, some sent the message to their lord about what was happening and soon decided to head down to stir up trouble among the people.

Ce had not wanted this rebellion to ensue, he had actually hoped and even prayed that this event would end with a peaceful transition, however clearly this was not the case. He knew that it was a longshot, however he had also hoped that there were men who would understand his plea, and amazed at how many men actually took arms, Seeing that Dong Xi was recognizing this as a full blown rebellion, he beckoned to him. "Xi, move quickly and tell all of the royal guard to begin breaking up fights throughout the city, there is no need for this kind of violence right now! Send the first guy you find back to father, have him send up my garrison of men, i dont plan on a fight, but if that is the way to defend the innocents here then i will."
Now taking a stand back on the original platform, Ce looked around at the uncertainty, at the few fights that had broken out, at what seemed to be an almost rioting crowd. Ce wasnt a sappy kid, but he felt horrible for having caused this much trouble, but this was the first step towards uniting the land, He then heard a man yell out about him only being a kid, and he yelled in response
"Good sir i bid you, i am an educated man, at only 17 i have spent the last 10 years of my life learning the art of war, and the literature of my ancestor Sun Tzu, I myself am a capable individual, and if you dont join because i am the leader, think again! For my father Sun Jian is in charge, i am simply one of his many diplomats, we have the increadible Naval mind of Zhou Yu, and the forcefull tactics of a one Lu Xun whom has been commended as one of the brightest in the land. So please before judging our kingdom, consider that i am not even the best it has to offer you"
He could hear more yelling and another ask the question what protection we could provide. a question with a fairly simple answer that ce couldnt help but smile at while answering.
"The kingdom from Wu holds the most men out of any current kingdom other than the tyrant Dong Zhuo, or the combination of troops in the coalition against him, which we to are actively a part of, our governance has been commended across the land! and i swear to you that we can prove the same here, do not let fear of change get in the way of your families safety!"

Lu Jun watched as his son practiced his swordplay. He was getting better, but was nowhere near a man's skill, as expected of a ten-year-old. He was encamped with his patrol: 100 soldiers equipped with swords.
Jun was on orders from Sun Jian to report any disturbances within his land. Actually, his troupe had crossed into Wu, but he expected no bloodshed. Apparently Jian's son Sun Ce was going to convince the people of Wu to surrender. Jun expected a fight, and wanted to be there for him.
They soon heard sounds of brawling in Wu. Xun stopped, and the group looked at Lu Jun. He nodded, and the group set off to assist Sun Ce in Wu. He had hoped to avoid a fight, but there seemed to be no other option.

((Yes you may join))
The people glowered at Sun Ce, how could they follow a man who threw claims for a kingdom that still had yet to prove itself to the world? If Wu wanted to impress then why didn't Lord Sun Jian show up himself? The crowd didn't seem all that impressed. "Why should we allow Wu to storm in here and take our land? We are fine enough with our current leader."
The other half of the crowd who had joined Sun Ce listened quietly and allowed their opponents to say their minds. They shook their heads and sighed lightly. "But Wu may provide better work and trade to these lands, they can use their large forces to protect us from pirates and on-coming threats from other areas."

Jun beckoned to his son. They were both riding horses whilst the others paced. They were going at a relatively fast pace, for not running.
"Xun. I don't want you fighting. It will be dangerous. But, to protect yourself.." He pulled to a stop and pulled out one of his dao broadswords, then handed it to Xun.
"Be careful, okay?" Xun nodded.
"You too, father." They both rode hard, Jun leading the troop and Xun staying near the middle. They soon came across the messenger that was sent out from Wu. He bore the flags of Sun Jian's army.
"Hail, soldier! Do you have a message for us?"

Sun Ce was immediate to respond, it was swift and almost berating to the man who had asked the question. "Your lord, where is he? mine sits at the base of Hu Lao gate, attempting to retreive the emperor and honor his commitment to the han, your lord sits in his castle drinking away his funds, and throwing away the life that has made itself known throught Jian Ye. My fellow brothers do not be afraid of change, but rather ask yourselves what will become of you if you allow things to continue the way they have, pirates, raiders from the north, or even the possibility of localized rebelions can easily take out a city like Jian ye, the soldiers here, while capable, are not strong enough to defend against a massive invasion. therefore i ask again, who do you trust, the man who has single handedly snuck in over 200 troops at the current time, and has another 500 at his beck and call. or the one whom keeps a small garrison of only 100 lightly trained militia to keep your family safe?"
Ce finished and was alost certain at this point that all who were going to listen, had made up there mind, now was the time for action and he noticed one of his famed officers, the brilliant Lu Jun, as well as his adorable and cunning son Xun (Whom was carrying a sword nearly triple his own size)

Some the peasants gave in and joined Sun Ce's side as they began to see the bigger picture upon the current situation but some continued to hold out against Sun Ce. The guards of the city slunk away to warn their Lord upon the situation whilst some remained and tried to push their luck with the remaining peasants. The ones against Sun Ce pulled back a little before they took violent action towards Sun Ce and his men.
"We'll never trust Sun Jian or any of the dogs that he sends!" The angry peasants shouted as they picked up rocks and sticks, anything they could get their hands on, and threw the items at Sun Ce and his men. It was clear that some had been brainwashed into believing in the wrong man.

After receiving the message from Jun, he gritted his teeth. The situation was bad. He looked back at his son, who was struggling to keep the sword in his hands.
"Son... Here." He took the broadsword back, sheathed it, and handed a long dagger to Xun. It seemed like a sword compared to his son's size.
"I'll just stick with you."
"No. Take ten of my troops and scour the city for more supporters." The hundred soldiers entered Jian Ye's walls, and the ten soldiers escorted Lu Xun around. They walked around, near the city's center, around the tavern and such places. The group looked for any volunteers who wished to fight. They noticed a brawl happening in the tavern, and went to investigate.
Several guards saw a group of peasants huddling near a building and went to assist. The two remaining soldiers, Lu Ban and Zhao Nan, stayed with Lu Xun. They were ready to give up everything to save their lord. Xun approached the two men fleeing the tavern. It looked like it was Zhou Yu, a member of his own force, along with another man he did not recognize.
"Lord Zhou Yu? Is that you?

Zhou Yu had just finished explaining his plan to Zhi Fang when he heard some one say his name behind him. On instinct he turned with his sword almost leaping to his hand with a will of its own. However he stooped for short of even thinking about attacking when he saw it was a boy along with two solders of Wu. It took him a moment only to work out who this must be given the ages of the relative Wu officers he had not yet meet.
"Yes at your service, you must be....Lu Xun son of Lu Jun. A pleasure although i had hoped we would meet under different circumstances." Zhou Yu replied in a dignified almost noble turn of speech. A tone that served him well as a strategist as people tended to be receptive to listening to him.
"This is the great warrior Zhi Fang. We were drinking in the local tavern when the city guard tries to arrest us, well me more so. I was just thinking it would be wise to assault the city watch station and disable the alarm bell. That way troops at the city edges and far districts wont be summoned to attack us. Besides which the longed it takes the Governor to send out his men against us in force the better." Zhou Yu said making quick introductions before summarizing his plan for Lu Xun. It would useful to have his insite after all he knew more about the situation in the city that he at the moment. Things seemed to be getting out of control in the city and while he hoped no one would be hurt he would plan for the worst.

Lu Xun was frightened when Yu turned a sword to him, but relaxed when he stopped. The situation was making everyone jumpy, of course.
"That sounds reasonable enough to me. I'll come with you, there is more safety in numbers." Xun and his two guards followed Zhou Yu and the warrior Zhi Fang.

"Alright then, lets stick to the shadows and back alleys. We would not want to get caught by a large group of guards." Zhou Yu said walking down an alley way that should lead them eventually to there destination. Fortunately in all the chaos being unobserved or at least unnoticed was fairly easy.
"I think the best idea would be to set a fire that should disable there watch station and the bell and its possible no one will be killed. But i might need a diversion to get the time to set a fire." Zhou Yu said looking at his new friends. It was clear he was asking for volunteers but he did not want to force anyone.

The two guards piped in.
"We can go. It's the life of a soldier to lay down their lives for peace." Lu Xun looked at them and inwardly cried. He hated seeing death and not being able to do anything about it.
"Don't die if you don't have to.. Every life is important."
"Right." The group neared the bell tower..

Zhi nodded to Lu Xun and he turned to Zhou Yu and asked,"What would you have me do?"Zhi waited there with his sword in his hand, looking for any roaming soldier to cut down. Zhi watched as Lu Jun ran away towards the bell tower, their success was very important for the overall victory of taking this city.

(Or me, i have yet to post since hers)
Sun Ce covers his face as several stones are hurled at him, hitting his arm band and being knocked back. "So violence will be the answer? let it be then. THOSE FOLLOWING ME, DO NOT HARM ANYONE, LEAVE THE CITY AND YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES WILL BE PROTECTED BY A LEGION OF SOLDIERS, STAY AND BE BRUTALIZED BY YOUR OWN NEIGHBORS"
Ce refused to harm the violent crowd, but rather turned to those who had weapons, the guards were not innocents and therefor were perfect targets for Ce to strike down. Taking out the tonfa's from his back holster Ce lept into the crowd ontop of a nearby advancing guard.
