Zhou Yu jumped back away from the building just as a burning beam collapsed where he has been standing. It seemed getting out of here was indeed a good idea. He followed close behind Zhi Fang as they cut there way out of the building past the last few guards. He did not bother to draw his blade this time it was clear Zhi Fang needed no help.
"A good suggestion Lu Xun. If i know my oath brother he will be where ever the fighting is thickest no doubt protecting the people from there own Governor." Zhou Yu replied his face a mask of control anger. He use to know the Governor Liu Yao and he had thought he was a good man. Clearly he had change in the years since or perhaps the chaos of the land had affected his mind. Something clearly had to be done about him. He suspected even if the Wu forces just left now Liu Yao might be assassinated by one of his own people. Of course they might be no better than he was so it was down to Sun Ce.
"You take point master Zhi Fang." Zhou Yu said whipping out his sword again. He stood near to Lu Xun. Although he was sure the boy would have been well trained it would be a shame to lose such a talent before it had time to develop. He would need people like him down the line.

Zhi continued to run, looking for Sun Ce, the son of the Tiger of Jiang Dong. When Zhi was in Wu, he met the son of the tiger, so he knew what he looked like. Zhi ducked below a sword swipe and he returned it with one of his own, cutting deep into the man's flesh. He continued to run, until he saw the man he knew to be Sun Ce. He ran up to him until he was right next to him."Sir, it looks like I have brought into your little war, but since I am here already I might as well help you. What shall you have me do?"

(It's been a while and Ce has not posted so gonna mod anyway. Everyone else carry on maybe Sun Jian can temp Ce for a while)
A flood of city guards marched toward the center of the city. before them was one man mounted on a glorious white stallion. The warlord who lead the army of Jian Ye for the Governor. Who was still safe back at the palace he had never been much of a fighter.
The people fled before this force fleeing for there lives. The army seemed to consider them all enemies today. The warlord drew his sword pointing toward Sun Ce and his friends.
"You are fools to enter this city and stirr up the people. You will not leave here alive." He laughed and ordered his men to attack.

Lu Jun stared at the man mounted on the white stallion. It pained him to see such cruelty. He whipped his halberd around and mounted a horse.
"Enemy general! I shall be your opponent!"
OOC: If you can't tell, he's offering a duel challenge.

(just so the duel does not go on for ever lets quick post it and not wait for everyone to do there turn)
Zhou Yu
Zhou Yu waved the few Wu troops that were around to form a defensive perimiter near Sun Ce. If they could keep casualties from rising under Lu Jun killed the warlord then perhaps he enemy troops would surrender or go home instead of carrying out there cruel orders. He stood in the second rank ducking a weaving around his men to land almost casually easy blows on the enemy from unexpected angles. It was more of a dance than a fight and he made his enemies look poetically un graceful at it.
Warlord
"So you want to be the first the die. All the better after this is over your boy will serve as my personal slave." The warlord taunted as he drove his spurs into the side of his horse. On command it charged right for Lu Jun. He was armed with a large Dao broad sword and he whipped it around his head building up power and speed as he approached Lu Jun. Keeping his shield up in his other hand he leaded forward toward Lu Jun slightly as he unleashed a power packed blow as his horse came within range of the man.

Lu Xun:
Xun looked around as he entered the main city streets. Many Wu troops and the city guards were about fighting. Xun ducked as one guard whiffed a spear jab over his head and a Wu soldier cut him down. The boy thanked the soldier and saw the new situation. His father had challenged the enemy commander, and the man had accepted. He knew of his father's strength, but not of this new opponent's. He watched the ensuing chaos.
Lu Jun:
Jun acted quickly, spurring his horse into action. The horse reared up and charged forth. Jun had no shield, nor did he feel he needed one. He readied his halberd, but set it backwards. When the enemy struck, he would deflect it with the butt-end of his weapon and then spin it to cut the opponent's backside with the blade. His plan was made fast, but then again, one had to think quick on the battlefield. He hoped his son would not have to see this...
Lu Xun:
The boy saw his father and the enemy commander charging towards each other, almost in a joust, but the opponent did not have a spear, but a large dao broadsword. He did not want to watch, but he found himself having to.
OOC: Should we get someone else to mod this, to prevent a call of bias or something?

OOC:We should be fine, no need to worry about it ^_^
Zhi Fang did exactly as Zhou Yu said to do. He ran to the side to confront a guard charging at Sun Ce, and as long as Zhi Fang was still breathing, that was not going to happen. The guard swung his sword downwards at Zhi, trying to cut him down. Zhi quickly sidestepped and plunged his sword deep into the man's chest. Just for the pleasure, Zhi twisted the sword deeper into the wound, causing the guard to scream loudly in pain, until darkness overcame him. Pulling out the blade, Zhi pointed his sword into the air and screamed a loud, psychotic scream. After the scream, Zhi met another guard, sparks flying off the two combatants swords.

Sun Ce(OOC: A little long but filling gap ) To his right was his friend and bodyguard Dong Xi and infront of him was Zhi Fang, who was previously part of Wu but had now come to offer his assistance, and around them all, among the fighting was all his royal guards that Dong Xi had brought. He never wanted this to result, but it seemed even though the chaos stemmed from the decaying days of the Han, and even though the South was not influenced by the Han, it seemed chaos had now plagued the air throughout China, including the lands of Jiangdong which his father has continued to protect, and that now he and his army are continuing to do, to bring the region of Jiangdong together. He sighed as enemy troops came rushing towards him, "Things are starting to heat up!It's about time!", as he gripped onto his tonfa and brought them infront of him, as he pushed the enemy troops back. Just then Zhi Fang stepped infront and attacked another enslaught of the troops, "Hey! That was mine! but cheers for the help."Just then, one of Liu Yao's men rushed out towards him and began to taunt him and his men. Sun Ce laughed, as he positioned his hand near his ear, "What, did you say something? Were there words with this squealing?", but then Lu Jun had challenged him to a duel. Sun Ce sighed again, that's the second time someone done what he should. In the corner of his eye, he saw a familiar face, which caused his smile to widen, as the figure organised his troops in a defensive formation around him, "Your saving me again Zhou Yu! Next time, it's my turn!". He then turned to his own troops, "All units, remain on the defensive. It's no use attacking if we're trying to save them from this chaos", hoping more would switch to his side/

(Sadly there are no mods other than Tsuki who could do this with out any possible bias. She is too busy so na we can do it.)
Zhou Yu
"Ha i will always be there when you need someone to watch your back Ce." Zhou Yu laughed as he blocked a blow aimed at his head. His counter cut across the mans arm as he pulled back cutting away fingers along with the mans sword. He put the man out of his misery before getting back into position. Everyone seemed to be bunching back away from the enemy. They did not want or need to kill them. Only the enemy warlord really had to die here.
Warlord
The Warlords blade bounced back of Lu Juns halberd although the sheer power of it knocked him off balance a little. Still it was too late for him to raise his shield and Lu Juns counter cut him across the back. A painful wound by not a particularly debilitating one. He roared in pain and rage and turned his horse. He was angry and needed to avenge himself on this Wu man that had hurt him physically and worse his pride. He gouged his horses side with his feet kicking it into full speed and he came at Lu Jun again.
His time he held his shield out in front and his sword just above it at almost eye level. This would leave him more protected. His shield should get him safely in range of Lu Jun who's weapon had greater range. Then he could slow his horse and unleashed a furry or close range power attacks with his sword.

Lu Jun
The man grunted as the spear bounced his opponent's sword back and connected the blow to his back. He was disappointed it did not finish the fight in one clean blow, but he put it off. He had other things to worry about. Jun clicked his heels into the horse and spun it around to face his opponent, who was already charging in a defensive pose.
Jun had expected this, and replied by forcing his horse forward to the other man's left side and held both of his hands on the spear. The spear could hopefully deflect the other man's first attack, so Jun could reel his horse around and unleash a powerful attack with his halberd. If the other man defends from the attack better than Jun thinks he can, then he defends as best as possible with his halberd from the enemy commander.

Summery: Lu Jun deflects the warlord next blow barley. However he is much closer now and with a shorter range weapon he can swing faster. His next blow gets in before Lu Jun can reverse his own weapon for his own blow. He lands a savage cut across Lu Juns chest before Lu Jun can fend him off with his own blow which hits him in the shoulder. It would have been worse but his shield took part of the blow. Both men have to fall back a little to collect themselves after being hit.
HP: Lu Jun 42 HP: Warlord 40
The warlord licked the blood that was flowing freely from his lips. This was the brutal kind of fighting he loved to do even if he was still getting the worst of it. Still If he could repeat his last attack he might be able to kill the annoying Wu man. After all he doubted he could block all his power attacks with the reverse of his weapon while still countering quickly. His last attack had taken advantage of that. Not that it had been his plan exactly but it worked.
"Throw down your weapon now and maybe you can live. Otherwise i shall finish you." He yelled his pride getting the better of him. He spurred his horse into a charge again. He knew now he would have the edge if he could get close enough. So he held his shield high in front of himself again. He held his sword behind it this time. When the moment was right he would cast his shield out of the way so he could make a hidden strike with his sword.

Lu Jun
The man saw through the warlord's tactic easy enough. The pain from the chest wound ailed him but he could shrug it off. Jun responded with an unexpected move himself: pulling the dao out from his right hip with his left hand. He now had a halberd in his right hand and a sword in his left. The warlord had gained some distance to him from this move, though. Jun readied a cross-block, his ji in front and the dao behind it to gain leverage. This would block the attack and he could follow through by either moving the surprised enemy's sword to the side or stabbing him with either weapon.

Summery: The warlords stabbing attack is blocked by Lu Jun who follows up with his own attack. The warlord deflects his sword with his shield but Lu Jun's halberd scores a blow under the warlords left arm. That arm his shield arm is pretty much useless now, he is losing a lot of blood
HP: Lu Jun 42 HP: Warlord 23
The Warlord screamed in pain as he felt his flesh part under his lest arm. He dropped his shield as he muscles spasmed then fell silent and useless. But he was not out yet there was still fight in him for his battle. Now he was close he kicked out with an armored boot at the head of Lu Jun's horse. A low tactic but it might give him the edge he needed. At the same time he slashed horizontally across Lu Jun's chest with his huge Dao using his good arm.

Jun gave a grin as his tactic worked, his halberd cutting under his opponent's left shoulder. He saw the enemy drop his shield, blood dripping from the wound, but still in the fight. The other man yelled and kicked out with his foot at Jun's horse. This man has sunk low.. Jun, to avoid this, pulled the reins of his horse up, forcing it to rear up, and possibly kick the other man with his forelegs. Right as the horse prepares to rear up, Jun slides off the back of it. It was not an honorable move, letting the horse take possible hits, but neither was purposefully attacking a horse in a duel. Dismounted, Jun then sheaths his sword and grips his ji halberd with both of his hands, ready to strike if the enemy attempts to.

Summery: Lu Jun slides off his horse as the warlord kicks it. He avoids any injury but the warlord redirects his sword blow to land on the horse instead as it rears. The horse falls down dead at Lu Jun's feet. It seemed the warlord would take any advantage.
Warlord
"Ha, Ha now I'm going to make you pay, Wu scum." He laughed as he reared his horse much as Lu Jun had tried to do. The difference being Lu Jun was much lower down now that he had been and also would have to contend not just with the horse but him also. He leaned to the left and cut down with a heavy stroke aimed at Lu Jun's head.
