"Hmm, I see, it looks like it is between Sun Jian and Liu Bei then, doesn't it? I am not sure who we should join though..."As Zhi said this, he went into a deep state of thought, trying to figure out which leader was better than the other.

Liao couldn't think of which one to choose, But I did promise Lord Sun Jian that i would return after i make sure my family is safe, He said as he finished his cup of water.

So far the pain in his side was passing but he knew it would stay there for awhile longer.

"I am afraid to look Sun Jian in the eyes...wait, are you okay? Were you injured during the battle?"Zhi stood up and moved towards Liao, as he got close, he knelt down beside him, looking at the wound.

I am fine, just an arrow caught my side and thats its, He said as he realised that Zhi Fang said that he was ashamed to go back to Sun Jian, why are you ashamed to see Lord Sun Jian?

When Liao asked Zhi that question, Zhi's eyes glazed over, as Zhi went into a deep trance, remembering what happened to make Zhi leave Sun Jian' surface. A tear escaped Zhi's eyes, it has been around 3 years since he last cried, it was not an often event. Shaking it off, Zhi said,"I am sorry, I do not want to talk about it, it brings back to amny bad memories-memories that I want to forget. Anyways, are you sure you are okay, the wound looks pretty bad..."

Liao decided to leave that matter alone for now, I am fine its not that bad, if I can't lead my men then its bad, He said as he got up to walk off the pain.


He turned to Zhi Fang, I understand what you said, but I made a promise and I am a man of my word, he said as he finsihed his cup, So what are you planning

"If you made a promise, then you should keep it. You should never go back on your word, never! I myself will never be able to return to Sun Jian. I do not think that I will be going to Liu Bei either, I still need to think about it all. So do you plan on going back to Wu?"As Zhi sadi this, he walked back to his seat and sat in it. Zhi than began to rub his eyes...he needed some rest.

[Zhang Liao]

I think I shall return to Wu, he said as he remembered the friends he made while he was there, But what about you, were will you go, he asked not willing to lose his friend, We have gone to the same place together for so long it will be weird if you don't go to Wu, he thought long and hard and he come up with an idea, What if I talk to Lord Sun Jian about what happened?

"I know not yet where I shall go, but I can't return to Wu. It is not my destiny to serve Wu, but I will travel until I find who I will join. It will be hard but it looks like we will soon go our seperate ways. But we should enjoy the time we have together now before we have to depart."As Zhi said this he put his hand on Liao's shoulder and smiled at him.

My friend you speak the truth, he said as he got up, But maybe I shouldn't go to Wu, I have heard that there has been corruption while I was gone.

He started to walk out the tent to inspect the men, I think I will stay up tonight to make sure there are no ambushes and then we make our way to Xu Chang

"What have you heard about this corruption?"This was news to Zhi, though Zhi had not much heard much of the lands of Wu recently, but still, this should have reached his ears. This news startled Zhi, cause from what he rembered about Wu, it came to a surprise that Wu would be filled with corruption.

[Zhang Liao]

D o you remember Lady Noh?, he asked hopoing Zhi Fang would know this, Well I heard she some how has massive influence in Wu, he said as he saw some men still working on their tent.

He went to them and helped them out. on his way back he continued, and I honestly do not want to serve a corrupt ruler again. he said as he fixed himself drink

Laughing, Zhi said,"She surely has her assests, she might sometimes get her way, but there is no way someone like Sun Jian will be mesmerized by her beauty. I do not think that is anything to worry about. I think I will take you up on your offer of staying up all night, I will probably go to bed soon, I need some rest. So we plan on moving to Xu Xhang tomorrow?"

[Zhang Liao]

Liao laughed along with Zhi Fang, Well if you must then go a head, also we are going to be at Xu Chang, he said as he took a seat and started a fire of his own.

You know what I wish for, he asked, I wish that people can see the stupidity to what they are doing. he said as he finally got his fire going

Zhi bowed to Liao and began to walk outside the tent. He stopped when he heard the second thing Liao said. Standing there for a couple of more seconds, Zhi began to walk out of the tent to go find his own tent to sleep in."I wish that people can see the stupidity to what they are doing."That hit Zhi really hard,thinking about it for a little bit while he was walking, he stopped and said,"I agree with that, but even if they do, would they stop doing it? That is what I wonder."Shaking the thought away, Zhi began walked into his tent, and fell onto the bed, and fell asleep instantly.
