I have an Intel Pentium Dual processor which is supposed to be at 2.4 GHz but when I ran a system check to play Sims 3 (it keeps crashing) it says that it is only 2.39 GHz! Please any advice is appreciated my Sims 3 keeps crashing my computer and it is very frustrating. Everything else on my computer meets the requirements except for the CPU speed. Thank you.

I had a similar problem with Spore a while back well I hope I did because it sounds familiar to the problem I had. You can try this. Go to task manager and go to the processes tab. When you start to load Sims 3 to play it find the process. It'll be something like "sims3.exe" find something similar to that right click it and go to set priority and set it to High or Above normal. Hopefully that'll work for you. If it doesn't work the first time try at 2 more times incase it might be that the 3rd try is the charm. If it doesn't work at all try calling up EA games or Intel and asking them.

But, you do have to remember the only things this user has posted is this, and something about... Runescape or some other game.
