The Escape (Quest)

Description: You and your enemy have been set up; locked in and guards quickly approaching. The initator intends to kill two birds with one stone. Swallow your pride and live to see another day.

~Wei Ning~

~Wei Looked about himself in a soft sigh, his one good eye taking in all the walls around himself. "Hmmm, this is where the letter said to meet..." He looked in his hands at the letter once more as he awaited the person he was supposed to meet here. Wei held his hilts close as he put the letter aside a moment in thought.~

~Wei knew all the risks in the world and figured on this one being slim to none, thoughts of a trap or even an ambush crossed his mind. On second thought who would go threw this much trouble to take down a mear pirate. Many thoughts went through his mind yet he still felt more and more unsure of this as he waited.~

~With one last huff he shook his head grabbed the letter and wadded it up and tossed it aside. "This will be a waste of my time, no point in waiting around." Wei said sighing as he moved for the door in a slow manner giving the person whom wanted him one last chance to make an appearance. Wei felt a need to give them that.~

[Sun Qing Liang]

~Mi Gong Zhu~

Gong walked among a colony of buildings while she held a metter in her colds hands. It was an inviation to a meeting. Questions aroused her mind as the thought of a trap thrilled her soul. " This could be fun after all." She said to herself. She loved the idea of being side to side with death and fighting to live was how she was used to. She looked at the letter and saw the building that she was designated to go to. It was a secluded,abandoned building that had a dark feeling to it. She hadn't had any time to prepared for anything since this letter was sent to her only a few hours ago. It told her to come unarmed, but Gong didn't like to follow such orders that left her defenceless. She had her fan in hand and moved it back and forth infront of her face which created wind that blew her hair back.

She entered the building and closed the fan. She became cautious as the aura of dark energy became emence. She walked into a room and saw a man. "Umm... what is this?" She asked the man as she gripped the fan. The thrill began to fill her soul and she felt free in a way. She was free to do what she wanted to, protect her life.

~Wei Ning~

~Wei stopped a moment at the woman enterance. He tilted his head a bit and stared almost blankly. "Well, we have a lovely little lady comin here hmmm. Tell me ya have one of these as well?" Wei pointed to the letter he had earlier wadded up and thrown to he side.~

~With that he moved to the door and nods a bit to her. "This doesn't seem right lady, I'd be sure to leave as soon as possible, I believe nothin good will come outta this. Especially for one as lovely as you." Wei smirked abit and walked to the door behind her.~

~He gave the door a push and nothing happened, a slight noise of a latch poping could be heard from the other side of the door. "Well perhaps my thoughts where right...be a bit late, I sure hope ya can fight..."~

[Sun Qing Liang]

~ Mi Gong Zhu~

She looked at the man as he flirted with her. She rolled her eyes and took them off as senceless banter. She heard the door lock behind her and she didn't feel any surprise, nor distress. " Fun starts already huh? Not even some sort of suspence...." She said while she took out her fan and started to cool herself off without worry. She found a chair and sat down. She stared at the door. " Well you going to break it down? It's just a wooden door." She said as shifted the sword on her leg. Even if this weren't a trap she always would carry this sword by her side. She had a special connection to her weapons which ahve saved her life so many times. To her the weapons had lives of their own to her and she could feel it. " My poor scythe is so jealous that my sword gets to drink all this blood. Poor thing..." She said with a grin on her face. People would look at her like she was crazy and the look on their faces was priceless.

~Wei Ning~

~Wei smirked a bit at her comment and tilted his head as he looked at the door. "Well this be a might large and thick wooden door, I'd sooner break my arm before I actually got it broken down. an what good would that do, I couldn't protect ya then, at least not as well heh." Wei made his voice slightly sarcastic as he and she knew the door was not ment to be broken by a single man.~

~With his words he moved back to a seat next to Gong and sat down. He placed a hand one a hilt of one of his swords and looks towards her. "Besides, ya never did tell me your name by the way, im Wei Ning...Pirate extordinare, at your service." He added holding out his hand towards the lady in a more polite gesture.~

~He wandered many things still in his head, if this was a trap which it very much seems that a way why these two. What is so major about this woman, sure she's cute, but she doesn't seem to be of anyone of importance...He then thought of himself, why him he was a pirate and only second in command at that, this a way to weaken someone they both may know, or sercamstance. He'd have to find out one way or another.~

[Sun Qing Liang]

~ Mi Gong Zhu~

Gong wondered about the man for a bit. SHe noticed that he had placed his hand on the sword he beared. She sighed as she thought of the many times people have thought she was a threat when she was just as respectful as Liang. Then she remembered that she was supposed to have dinner with Liang and Shangxiang." Well this is a nice excuse to get out of dinner with royalty. Kidnapped for no apparent reason." She said with a laugh. She craved the excitement of being trapped and unable to do a single thing.

She stood up from the chair and looked at the door. She saw a shadow moved side to side from the bottom opening of the door. The shadow stopped in front of the door and the wood creeked as pressure was forced onto the door. " Silly laziness" She said to herself. She looked at the man's sword and had a nice idea. " Hand me your sword quick. I need to get to Shangxiang's dinner." She said quietly as she approached him.

~Wei blinks a moment as she said her things about a dinner with Sunshang. The forces of Wu's lady, interesting he thought. "Hmmm, Sun Shang hmmm...so you're with Wu then?" Wei asked as he then looked upon the door.~

~He too saw the shadows and blinked a moment as he looked to Mi Gong Zhu, "my sword?, you have a knife that'll work just fine young miss." Asking for Wei's sword was like asking for his heart he would never give it up freely. His hand never left the hilt of his weapon as he watched the woman move towards him.~

[Sun Qing Liang]

~ Mi Gong Zhu~

Gong rolled her eyes as the man decided to refuse a way out of here. She looked at her fan and walked over to the door quietly. She strongly forced the fan through the wooden door and to her amazement it worked. Blood rushed through the hole in the door and staine the fan. Gong sighed and glared at the man with a devil's touch in her eyes. She turned back to the door and knelt down. She reached through the strip of space at the bottom of the door way not even thinking if her hand would fit. At first she fet the body of a bloody corpse and she held her otherhand over her mouth. " Isn't this a man's job?" She asked herself. She set that thought aside but couldn't help but giggle a bit. She heard a clinging of metal as she searched through a small pocket in the man's suit. " Aha..." She silently yelled.

A rusted old key was found and she quickly pulled it in. She hurried to put it through the keyhole and get out of there before another guard found a dead body. " Time to break through this cage." She said as she heard a click in the door. She was able to open it, while forcing the body over to allow the door to open enough for them to get through. She turned to the man and opened her fan up, showing a blood-stained fabric. " I hope you paying to get this out pirate." She said as she threw it towards him. She looked around the outside corridor for any guards that might detect their presence.

~Wei Ning~

~Wei blinked as she went to work, she had her own weapons like he knew she had. He had watched the blood push through the door and she leaned down pushing her hand through it trying to find something. Would the first guard really be stupid enough to have the key?, his question is answered as she pulled up with it.~

~She unlocked the door and he tilted his head as he moved towards the door. "Interestin...but I knew ya had weapons of ya own." Wei said as he looked at the halls infront of them. The suddenly a whistle blew, they where now gonna have to fight their way out. "Well looks like its time ta go."~

~Soon the halls started to pop different guards running towards the two.~

[Sun Qing Liang]

~ Mi Gong Zhu~

Gong watched as the corridor was flooded with guards with spears,swords, and other weapons of choice. She unsheathed her sword and ran her fingers along the blade like she would usually do before blood would be split,either hers or the others. " Hmm...more toys..." She said as she pointed the sword towards the legion of men. A small laugh escaped her cold lips as she thought about how good this little side adventure would feel.

She looked towards the pirate and an unwprried smile appeared on her face. She wasn't going to let this out-numbered ratio kill her mood. It just gave wood to a scorching flame. " You can run if you want. Just more fun for me then." She said as she turned her attention to the colony of soon-to-be bloodied-corpses.

(Sorry for such a short post. I'm ebing hurried off of the comp -.-)

~Wei looked at all the guards coming to meet the two and he noticed she pulled her weapon finally and smirked a bit. He knew on the way here they had two more gates to push through before it was just them and the open land ta run out of here with. He knew he'd have to fight and he didn't care much about how but he knew he was going to get out of this predicament.~

~Wei heard Mi Gong Zhu saying something about fighting but he had already drew both of his blades and charged. Turning stabbing the first two guards he looked at Mi Gong Zhu and laughed a bit.~

~"Well lady ya gonna talk or ya gonna help get us out of here?" With those words Wei turned back towards his foes and flipped one sword upside down the blade running across his right arm. With that same arm he punched the first guard in the face, letting the blade follow his follow through it sliced the mans face open.~

~Wei was fighting in a particular manner to push only one way, towards those other two gates. He didn't care about whom was behind them by now and hoped the woman would be smart enough to guard the rear while Wei had the front. It would be a hard battle but with both the front and the rear guarded they could have a chance in making it out, with their lives.~

[Sun Qing Liang]

~ Mi Gong Zhu~

Gong watched as he charged through the guards and killing a few. She saw a few guards coming after her out of the corner of her eyes. The grip on her sword increased as she swung her left sword towards the 3 guards' necks. The sword swiftly sliced through and blood spewed out of the wounds. She knelt down to dodge the blood and ran towards a few men behind the pirate. She took out her fan and swung it towards the 2 men,which released small blades and they pierce them in the back of the head.

She thought about the fact that she was kidnapped in a sense. She understood that kidnapping her would be a useful act to get something out of the Sun family. Liang wouldn't let Gong rot in a prison like that, and neither would ShangXiang. Gong wondered why Liang's sister was so nice to here. After all, in the past she tried to kill Liang, but they weren't normal people. Gong didn't mind since she wasn't too normal herself.

She stopped thinking to deep and noticed a sword fly towards her. She quickly deflected it with her left sword and thrust through the guard with her right. She looked at the pirate. " We should just head for the exit. We can't kill them all!" She advised. She didn't expect him to take her advice, but she always liked to put her input on things that could take her life.

~Wei Ning~

~Wei smirked a bit as he Listened towards her words about getting out and laughed a bit. "What do ya think we're goin'? There are two gates we have ta get too, one is just ahead I can see it now, and the other is behind this one. Stay at my back and fend off the guards." Wei said as he sliced through two more guards at the front.~

~The first gate was just barely close enough for Wei to touch. The problem was, the latch to unlock it was on the other side. The peep hole above the large door was just large enough for a woman to get through. Great that would put a lot of trust onto Mi gong Zhu if she could get through and hopefully open the door for Wei to get threw as well.~

~"Well, miss looks like ima have to relie on you. Use my shoulder to get up to the hole atop the door. once through you'll need to unlock it so I may get through." Wei yelled as he stabbed the last guard in the stomache and turned back against the door ready to defend while hopefully Mi gong would able to get them both through.~

Mi listened to the pirate as she sliced a few more guard with a side swiping motion. He wanted her to get through a opening big enough for only her to get through. She looked at the opening quickly and pushed a few guards down, which had an amazing domino effect. Most of the guards were knocked off of their feet, except one guard which Mi used as step stool, up to the pirates shoulder. She used the velocity of her jump and flew through the hole over the doorway. She landed on the ground on the other side of the gate. She looked around for the latch to let Ning in. " Why the hell does someone want me?!" She thought to herself as she spotted the latch. She swung her sword at the latch and shattered it. The gate opened and she saw the guards around the pirate. She spotted a wall of pots filled with exotic plants on top of the gate. She threw her fan at the pots and the middle shattered. The landslide of pots fell onto the guards and Mi gestured to Ning to Hurry. " Come on so I can close it!" She ordered.

~Wei Smirked a bit as she made it through the hole and trned back now towards the door. He looked at the guards piling up looking in his direction. He sliced a few more quickly just as the door towards his back opened he nods a bit in thanks as he knew she coulda left him there but didn't.~

~He watched her fan hit the pots and knock some guards out. He moved through the door quickly and pushed it shut. She had broken the lock so he held it shut and looked towards her a minute. "Find something to hold it shut, The fewer the guards the better!" He exclaimed as the guards where now pushing against the door, Wei used all his might to hold it until she could get something.~
