Battle of Xiao Pei

So it seems that I'll live another day. Yen Wang had decided that I need to do more to prove my worth. It is understandable considering the situation. I still have my own goal to achieve and the best way to do that is to follow Yen Wang's lead. The coalition is clearly no longer what it was suppossed to be. I have a mission now, eliminate the coalition. Ah it feels like the good old days.

It seems the rain is beginning to pour. The gods really to favor this man, I can hear the thunder as they applaud and feel their tears of joy pour down upon me. This rain is blessing, it will allow me to attack my targets from a distance without being seen or it will at least make it more difficult. The problem is I'll have to find a way to locate the targets.

Ah simple, I'll treat this like a game of chess. I can use coordinates to explain to my men where to target. I can find the targets and use my messengers to send the coordinates. But wait, I almost forgot I sent messengers to each generals camp so I could keep tabs on them! Oh this is could work out very nicely. The only camps I don't have a messenger at is Zhou Yu who quit the field.

Alright step one, find out if they have been continuing to make weapons. The rain has probably slowed their progress significantly. If they stopped I need them to gather what we have and get ready to fire. Fortunately they should already be in position because of the last orders I gave them.

Lieutenant! I need you to take this message and distribute amongst the rest of the communications unit. This is how we will be communicating. You will have ride back and forth amongst each other to make sure our men know their location. We won't be able to use messenger bird because of the rain. Once you have the enemies locations you will fire on the enemy return to me and I will give them their orders.

Understood!

Right I should head back to my men before I am seen.

Ryu Yin halted his army's march behind the the existing infantry that were there at the gate. He looked back at his army and saw they were enjoying the rain which he wouldn't mind if they didn't have work to do. Ryu Yin took off his hood and put on a large conical straw hat to protect his head from getting too wet. "Stand in formation!" said with a booming voice quickly getting all of his troops attention and putting them back into rows. "Now I understand that most of you are unhappy that you have been put into the command of a foreign general! I would like to tell you that I was once a bandit! I slaughtered my foes mercilessly, looted their corpses, and burned their homes! And I enjoyed doing it I loved it, so I expect each and everyone of you to do the same! We shall bath in the Coalition's blood! We will show their families in their peacful homes that they are not safe! We will strike fear into their hearts and pierce them with the sharp end of a sword! Fangs! Are you ready!" They roared like thunder in a storm.

Summary:
Ryu Yin arrives at the first wall

Turn Five Summary:
Zhi Fang has arrived on the battlefield for the Coaltion, and begins to march his troops towards the First Gate.
Smith meets up with the rest of his troops, who are taking a quick break from cutting down trees.
Ryu tries to raise the morale of his troops, which succeds.
Burai's troops shoot warning shots towards the Coalition Forces.
Korin uses his messengers to try and figure out the Coalition officers locations in the heavy rain.
Ning, sends a messenger to speak with Yen Wang.

Rasa's worked methodically with closed eyes. Vision wasn't needed when his hands could see for him. His traps were coming along nicely and wouldn't take too much longer to finish. The wind and rain howled and bit at his face. He couldn't help but laugh when it occurred to him how similar the weather was to that of an angry tiger. "A tiger huh? I do hope a tiger doesn't seek refuge in a gentle breeze such as this. Any beast that attempts to enter my home will soon find themselves cold and tired. Only one with either the knowledge of a monkey or a fool's luck could reach the throne in this palace." He yawned loudly. When he finished maybe he'd take a nap. Given the extensiveness of the traps he had lain combined with the bad weather, if anyone could get within the distance a master archer could shoot on a clear day, they would no doubt be as far above a god as the moon is from a worm.

[Xian Ye]

Xian snarled as He saw the first arrow thump into the ground only a few feet infront of him. Cursing, He loudly ordered his ment to retreat out of bow-shot and considered his options. By now the Coalition would have been forced to send extra forces to help destroy this rebellion, simply because so many had fled the field. Taking a look around his men, a good hard look to try and see threw the rain, He saw the tell-tale signs of an approaching force. Jumping from his horse, He ordered his men to take a defensive position, before grabbing one of the men Zhou Yu had sent him and pulling him aside.

"Look, We've got ourselves in a bit of a bind. I want you to take a white flag and a message to the Gate. If you manage to get inside, You will report to whoever has command there that Xian Ye wishes to join them, and that I have over a thousand men capable of doing aiding them in crushing this coalition. Is that clear?" The look in Xian's eyes told the man that to refuse was to die, and He hastily nodded before near-running to do as He was instructed. In Xian's eyes there had been a hint of madness, Something that showed a near primal need for carnage. As far as the newly minted Messenger was concerned, That was by far more terrifying than approaching the wall alone!

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

(I waited 3days for everyone to post. The first half for my post are for the coalition that didn't respond; Josh you will be happy about that)


The archers fired their warning shots, as instructed. Only 2 sections of the army stopped moving. One of the Archers peeked down the wall to inform Yen Wang. "Sir! only two groups ceased movement; one is outside our walls the other is further away. The of Both sent messengers, toward the gates."

Yen Wang smirked and motioned to the guards to let both messengers in. One of the messengers greeted him with a letter. ((Ning hasn't sent me any details about it, so not much i can do there)) He put the letter in his pocket and sent the messenger back from wince he came. Then he was greeted by the other messenger.

The messenger informed him of a warrior named Xian Ye; who wished to deflect. Yen Wang smiled, and planned to use this to his advantage. "Go tell Xian Ye, I accept. Tell him to attack the reminding of teh coalition that is charging the gates. I will make sure our arrows wont touch him. Oh, tell him not to intercept any of Korin's troops he is aiding me as well. If possible join up with Korin and attack the reminding of the coalition's flank. I will deal with Wei Ning I think he wants to join my cause as well."

Yen Wang sent the messenger on his way. And shouted up at the archers. "Leave the two groups, Focus on the last of the coalition. I want everyone to coordinate their attacks. Our volley shall diminish the rest of their morale!"

The archers moved into position and ignored the two groups as ordered; they began their relentless volley attack on the charging coalition.

[Cao Cao]

Zhi Fang continued to march until he saw an outline of a forest. It was raining to hard to be able to attack the gate properly, and those woods would give them good cover from the rain. Zhi Fang put his hand up and pointed towards the direction of the woods, and he turned his horse and began to ride it in that direction. Zhi was wondering where the Coalition forces were at, maybe he would find some at the woods, also waiting for the storm to end.

Summary:
Zhi Fang changes course and heads to the closest forest(the bottom one where Smith is at.)

(Out of character) Okay I assume that since Burai has posted that its a new round. If that is the case then here is my post. If not tell me so I adjust it accordingly.

The winds have seemed to pick up. It seems that someone is trying to make this interesting. I should be back to the troops by now. Ah I believe that is them ahead.

Sir! Sir!We've gotten in contact with the scouts. It seems Xian Ye is on the move as well as Zhi Fang. Ning appears to be holding position while Smith is still constructing siege weapons. Sir we have also constructed a few more catapults!

Excellent! Okay then you all will have your first orders. We need to take out the only other siege weapon threat on the field. Perhaps we can destroy some of them while they are being constructed.

Men you have your target! E2! FIRE!

Lieutenant! I need you to keep in touch with our scouts so I can know if we are hitting are targets and so I can make any adjustments! Keep me posted!

(Korin, you could not have known I[Zhi Fang] was moving since you did not have a messenger accompying me, but I will just let it slide because I do not really care about it XD)

Turn Summary:
Zhi Fang changes course over to southern forest.
Rasa continues to build traps in the forest.
Xian Ye is told by his messenger that Burai has accepted his betrayal and has also told him the orders that Burai wants to do.
Burai gives the order for his troops to begin firing their arrows towards the enemy.
Korin begins to fire at(I am guessing) the forest where Smith is located. Though his shots are far from hitting their mark as they need to get closer to actually hit them.

May Turn Seven Commence!!

Okay there are many problems right and I'm going to point out all of them.
One, I'm plenty close enough to hit anyone at this point considering you didn't mark where army was, just me. 2nd there have been multiple occasions where I wasn't even on the map so to claim to know where I'm positioned is ridiculous considering the lack of consistency. Third, in like my first post I said I sent messengers to every camp. Everyone just ignored that fact. So in short, yes I could know where everyone is located and 2nd you didn't mark where army was and there is no way to determine the range of any of the weapons so to say that I'm not range is very illogical and arbitrary. So unless you can specify the range of the siege weapons and my army's location I don't see how anything in regards to my character is valid.

Oh and here is the quote where I said I had scouts at every camp. Its been like 7 turns since then so I'm pretty sure they have reached there destinations.

[Zhang Smith]

(Jeezz Stop whinning and get over it)

"Men conditions on this battle are not very good, it seems that we are soon going to be under attack by the enemy, reports indictate many have defected to the other side, however we are not traitors. Now is our time to strike, get in to defensve positions now, Stack the wood we have in the middle of this camp we'll have need for it, not now but in a bit. Understood!" With these woods, the archers, hid in the trees but also in vantage point where they can see anything, or anyone approching.

"Lord Smith we can barely see a unit approching it looks like its one of the coalitions generals. Reinforcements perhaps?"

"Hmm Let him in but keep your guard, I will meet with him outside, wait for my signal attack only if i give the signal understood." Smith hopped on his horse and headed towards the mysterious unit (Zhi Fang).

Summary:
-Smiths preparing his troops for battle
- Smith heads out to meet the mysterious unit approching the forest

I joined the battle after you did that, so it is kinda hard to send a scout over to a person who was not even on the battlefield at the time. And second of all, you did not send your troops out yet, other than those messengers, so they would be where you are at, which is still on the ground on the right side(of you are looking at the map) of the gate, not even on the walls, so how do you expect to hit anything yet?

As he finished the last trap, Rasa sat backwards in exhaustion. Soon everything would end. Gathering the remnants of his strength he climbed a nearby tree to the highest branch that would support his weight. Once there he surveyed his kingdom. Yes, this would do nicely. He would be able to see quite far from here on a clear day. Even in the rain is was the best vantage point. Sighing, he relaxed against the tree, closed one eye, and rested.
