Sima Yi had been traveling for awhile and decided now that Dong Zhou was gone. so he wondered around the land looking for a lord, but then he heard about the Hero of Chaos, Cao Cao, and decided that he must meet this man. So he was at the gate of Chen Liu were he was stopped by the guards, who asked why he came here. He told them that he came to see Cao Cao.
They let him in and Sima Yi was surprised by the size if the city, cause it looked smaller outside. He rode his horse all the way to the palace were he was stopped by another group of guards who asked him the samething. Yi told them that he was gonna join Wei. One of the guards went off to notify Cao Cao

"Sir, a strange man has asked to see you, he says that he wants to join Wei. Shall I let him in?"The guard said to Cao Cao as he sat there on his throne, wondering what to do. Cao Cao could always use another officer, maybe it could be a strategist, which he was currently lacking. He looked at the guard and said to him,"Yes, let him in at once."

The guard come back and told Yi that Cao Cao accepted his request for an audience and led him toward the main room.
When Sima Yi got there he saw a man of great pride and knew at once that this was the leader for him. He went up to him and bowed and said, Lord Cao Cao, my name is Sima Yi, I have came along ways to seek you and request that you accept me as an officer of Wei. I am no warrior, but my strategies will a sure you many victorys, He finished as he stood straight up to hear Cao Cao's reply

Perfect, just what Cao Cao was looking for. Now maybe with a strategist, he could begin his plans on attacking the local warlords. He looked Sima Yi over, trying to see if he was the real deal. This man had a certain aura about him that Cao Cao could not look past. This man would fit perfectly in Wei."I would be honored to have you as an officer of Wei. Though I have a question, out of all the warlords, why did you pick me? What makes me better than the rest?"

Sima Yi was happy that he was now an officer of Wei, he then heard Cao Cao's question and he paused for a moment to find the answer. Well Lord Cao Cao, I have heard about you and your reputation and I wanted to see if it was true or false, if it was true then I would ask to join you, if false however I would of left, you see I am a man who wants the strong and fierce Lord who lays out his orders so that his men understand it clearly, someone who has study the Art of War and understands it. I believe that you are this man, he said as he caught his breath

"Well I am humbled that you have picked me to serve. I will find great use of your talents. Now, I shall have one of my guards show you around the palace and to your own private room. I would do it myself but I am very busy today, you understand don't you?"

Yi shook his head up and down, Yes I do my lord, He said as a guard took him to his private room and was amazed at how big it was, the room itself was twice the size of his old home and the architecture in the room was superb. he walked around in the room to get a feel of it.
He then found a bottle of wine on one of the tables and picked it up to take a look. He saw that this was good wine and took a sip of it.
