Cao Cao looked over the city of Chen Liu as the sun began to set over the horizon. It was quite beautiful, a site that always takes Cao Cao's breath away every time he sees it. A guard comes into the room and kneels on the ground and waits for his lord to say something to him. Without looking at him, Cao Cao said to him,"Have you sent the invitations?"The guard nodded and said to his lord,"It has been done my lord, they should arrive shortly."Smiling, Cao Cao turned to the guard and said,"Good, now lead me to the dining hall, and be quick about it!"

Sima Yi was in his room drawing up some strategies and weapon designs for future battles, till he heard a guard walk in his room, the guard said the Lord Cao Cao had invited him to a banquet. Sima naturally accepted the invite. He put on his best outfit and headed down to the banquet.
After awhile of walking around, he soon came to the room were the banquet was and found out that he was the first to enter. When he walked in he bowed and said, Lord Cao Cao, thank you for inviting me to this wonderful banquet, Sima finished and then walked and sat to one the spot closest to Cao Cao on the left side

Chen Liu.
He had been spending his time deep into personal studies, into the diverse and rather difficult topic of proper mainland Chinese, something that he really needed to develop on further, and quick, if he was aiming to suit in well with the people of Cao Cao's army. More responsibility was weighed on him now that he was serving with a rank in a kingdom, and that responsibility wasn't just on his daily and military duties in the system of the city, or in the social life of Chen Liu. In fact, even his personal duties of learning and progressing were placed on his sturdy shoulders.
Wei Yan was interrupted from this rather complicated business of his as a soft knock came on the door. The soldiers of this army had learned to respect, and now even fear, the barbaric warrior of the west, and it was very rare that any would dare to pay a visit due to simple jokes or to start a light conversation. Either it was an emergency, or an important notice from the higher man himself. And from the tone that the knock delivered in its gesture, it was more likely to be the latter case, a message from the Lord Cao.
Rising from his seat with a low grumble, Wei Yan strode over to the door and shoved it open. The usual messenger greeted him with a fearful look, before he carried out his mission with a proper sense, relaying the notice of the banquet to the warrior.
---
He hadn't really prepared himself much. Just walking straight from the time of his notice to the present at the banquet hall, he practically pushed past the un-inquiring hall guards after tossing them his double voulge, the usual requirements in a formal meeting. Without casting even a glance toward Cao Cao or his arrogant fool of a trusted advisor, Wei Yan seated himself at the farthest end of the long dining table, before a series of plates dressed with a group of delicacies.
