Description: Some times the best way to get what you want is to demand it and not shut up or give up until he get it. A little force never hurt you either.
Cao Cao breathed in the nice, cold air blowing from the mountains. That smell always refreshed Cao Cao, giving him a sense of calmness that many things could not bring him. Though Cao Cao was not here to relax, he was here on an important mission, a mission that only he, the leader of Wei could carry out. There was a city up in the mountains called Xi Liang, a city that was cut off from the rest of the world. There were materials that were made and found up in the mountains that Cao Cao needed. So Cao Cao made it is top priority to go up there and open up trade between Xi Liang and Wei, peacefully or by force if need be.
"Men, stay here for the time being. I want to try and go up there alone, to be friendly to them and if they do not obliege, then I shall come back to get you to make them cooperate."As Cao Cao said this, he kicked his horse and began his climb up the mountains. After ten or fifteen minutes, Cao Cao came up to the city's gates. A guard stepped up and said to Cao Cao,"Who are you and what brings you here to our city?"As the guard said this, Cao Cao got off his horse and replied to the guard,"Greetings, I am Cao Cao, ruler of Wei. I have come here with something that your ruler might find beneficial, may I please come in? I do not want to be left out here in the cold."The guards thought about it, wondering if they should let him in. Cao Cao was a great man, and perhaps he could provide something that Xi Liang could really use. After thinking about it, they nndded and opened the doors and began walking towards the palace, telling Cao Cao to follow them.
Cao Cao looked around the city as he was transported through. It was a decent sized city with a large population count. Even in this freezing cold weather, Cao Cao could not find a face of a citizen that was not smiling. Cao Cao could feel a warm aura eminating from each citizen, an aura that Cao Cao had never felt before. The idea baffled him, though before he could figure it out, they arrived at the palace doors. The guard mptioned to Cao Cao, telling him to go ahead and see their lord. Cao Cao nodded and moved up to the large doors and gave them a large push.
"Welcome to my grand city, what do you want?!?!"Said a large figure sitting on the throne located in the middle of the palace. His abruptness surprised Cao Cao and put him on edge. Though he got right down to buisness, and Cao Cao liked that about him. Cao Cao bowed to the ruler and said to him,"Greetings sir, I am Cao Cao, ruler of Wei. I shall skip past the formalities and just get down to buisness. As you know, the mountain we are standing on gives up some rare metals that are very useful to me. So since you are here, you are the first one's to get them, and Wei is in great need of those metals. I am asking if we could open up trade between Xi Liang and my cities of Wei. We have many things that you will wa..."The ruler of Xi Liang put his hand up and stopped Cao Cao in mid sentence. Biting back his tounge, Cao Cao waited for him to speak."I have no intrest in you or your pathetic kingdom, we have all we need up here. Now leave this city before we imprison you!!"Cao Cao shook his head and said to him,"I shall leave, but you will regret that you sent me away!!"As Cao Cao said this, he turned and headed out towards the exit.
"They were not cooperative, let us go!!!"Cao Cao said to his troops when he came back to tell them the news. He turned around and headed back up the mountain. Though this time, he was not alone. This time he was escorted by 100 Troops of Wei.
The guards of the city's gates quickly opened the door when the 100 soldiers of Cao Cao pulled out their swords and pointed them at his throat. Smiling, Cao Cao kicked his horse forward and he lead his troops towards the city's palace. Once they got there, Cao Cao's troops were the first to enter. When Cao Cao entered, he almost bursted out laughing when he saw the rulers face of pure shock and dismay."Now, would you like to reconsider your answer you gave to me? Here is some incentive..."Cao Cao snapped his fingers and a soldier behind Cao Cao ran foward and went up the ruler of Xi Liang and put at his feet a large brown bag. The ruler opened it up to find a large amount of gold and some materials that were rare to the city of Xi Liang."We have much more of this, all I want is to open trade with you, not a war."The ruler looked up at Cao Cao and back down to the burlap sack. He had to do what was best for the city, and opening trade with Wei was best for the city."It shall be done, send your merchants up here in a week or so, we need some time to get our wares ready."Cao Cao smiled and bowed to the ruler, he had made a wise decision. He put his hand up and moved it backwords, a motion to his men to head out back down to Chen Liu. Their mission was a sucess, now it was time to go home.
The End.
