The city of Bei Hei has come under attack by the Ambitious warlord Cao Cao who now seeks to expand the area of his control. Will he stop at nothing until the entire central plains is under his control? the land beings to fear. But Bei Hei is ruled by Kong Rong known as a just man and former friend to Liu Bei and Tai Shi Ci the warrior. He has the people's respect and he refuses to surrender his city to Cao Cao. Here is the battle map it requires little explanation. Black = Buildings or city walls Brown = Gates in the walls the other bits north of the city are small forts and coastal defenses Dark green = Forests Grey = Impassable mountain areas Green = Grassland or plain Blue = Clearly water I will NPC the defenders as the battle mod some assistance with the battle losses from Sun Jian as he trains as a battle mod himself. Any questions PM Zhou Yu. The battle will be conducted under standard battle rules. Wei's officers will be added to the map as they join. There is no overall time limit but each round has a limit of 5 days anyone not posting by then is skipped, there is NO turn order. The Wei officers can arrive anywhere on the west or south sides of the map. The defenders have 3k troops to be decided by me on first turn.

Cao Cao looked over at the city of Bei Hai, a city that was in his way of dominance of the region. That would not go unpunished, and since the messenger Cao Cao sent to Bei Hai asking their surrender came back empty handed, Cao Cao knew he would have to take the city by force. Even if that meant killing every single person who stood in his way. Cao Cao asked for obedience, is that to much to ask?
Cao Cao turned to his men and said, "Okay men, begin to march towards the city. Just get close enough for our catapults to get in range to bombard the city. They shall pay for their insolence!"As Cao Cao said this, he pointed his sword towards the city, telling his troops to march. Cao Cao planned on staying right there, behind his forces for the time being.
*Summary: Cao Cao sends his forces towards the city, trying to get his catapults into the range of the city.*
(Btw, Cao Cao is right below the northernmost forest.)
Troops:600 Peasents 1,178 Spearmen 775 Swordmen 590 Calvary 550 Militia 528 Archers 200 Halberds 3 Catapults

Bei Hai.
It was about time that Cao Cao began his expansion of land across the vast lands of China. As he had already been headquartered in the north of the collection of various nations and cities, it only made sense to begin his conquest in the vicinity of his already well-positioned initial base. Moving east in an attempt to take over the access to the eastern coast, the strong and fierce warlord had marched towards the rising sun to take over the city of Bei Hai, governed by that incapable pest known only as Kong Rong, and aided solely by the rare case of outside assistance.
It was time for Kong Rong¡¯s pathetic rule to go down. And for Cao¡¯s age to rise.
"Die..."
Approaching from the south-western end of the vicinity, Wei Yan began his march towards the south gate of the city. Avoiding the forest, he moved around it.
----
500 Peasants 500 Spearmen 500 Swordsmen 600 Light Cavalry 600 Crossbowmen
2 Battering Rams
(Wei Yan came. Heheh. He's going around the forest.)

Kong Rong sat in silent meditation his legs crossed, a steaming cup of herbal tea before him. This was a regular morning routine for him as around him gathered his advisors and commanders. Usually he was a model of self control and respect but today he found it hard to calm the swelling sea of chaos that was his mind. Worry eroded his self control and doubt ate at his resolve. He used mental exercises to calm himself putting his mind at easy as best he could. He pictured himself a rock in a calm sea. He told himself it mattered not what he faced only that he faced it as a man and tried his best to resist the evil wave that would descend on his city. He still, along with a few noble lords like Liu Bei honoured his oath of loyalty to the Han. He opened his eyes, ready at last for this meeting. A warrior stepped forward; although he had no official rank here he was respect by all, so given leave to speak. His name was Taishi Ci, he gave his aid in thanks for the kindness Kong Rong and shown his mother in the past.
“Lord Kong Rong, the forces of Cao Cao are rapidly approaching your city from the north and west. As you have decided to resist his unlawful demands of subjugation I will render you what assistance I am able. My spear is at your serve.” Taishi Ci said raising his mighty weapon. A few of the other commanders looked on inspired they trusted this warriors they knew he was good.
“You as always have my gratitude. I have appealed to Tao Qin and Liu Bei for aid but neither can this time help us. I fear we must stand along against this menace. Yet i do not fear because we have Taishi Ci was us today. Not only that, I to will do my past. As a descendant of Confucius i cannot bow before a man like Cao Cao. He pretends to have noble ambitions but his demands for our city show the kind of man he really is.” Kong Rong said standing and drawing his sword. He then presented the blade to Kong Rong, this was a symbol more than anything else. Because of it his men would know that Taichi CI spoke with his voice now on all military matters. Besides he was not the fighter that the other man was. He lead the way outside they would go for a tour along the wall and see the enemy as they approached the city limits. Outside they could see there army was preparing for battle, men trained hard with their commanders as they pushed them to the limit.
Troops for this battle Total: 3k Archers: 500 Crossbowmen: 500 Spearmen: 1000 Swordsmen: 800 Light cavalry: 200

Cao Cao looked over the city as his troops got closer and closer to their target. Though Cao Cao's forces were only a distraction, a distraction for the main attack force to get close to the city and breach it. That force was lead by his officer, Wei Yan. Since he was such a strong, large and a freak of a man, he seemed perfect to lead the main forces against the city. All Cao Cao had to do now was to wait for a white flag to replace the flags of the city of Bei Hai.
(Sorry, was in a rush.)
