Name:
Liu Bei
Style:
Xuande
Age:
30
Residence:
Yong'an
Appearance:
A being of Dragon like features, that notes him worthy of the title Imperial Uncle, one whose smooth complexion gives a youthful spirit the chance to burn from within. Dressed in robes of his parents, a hanfu usually made of thick material and basic earth colours; sometimes adding the occassional addition of a vibrant red and sky blue. Liu's understated appearance allows him to become one with the people he so longs to serve and give back the kindness they devouted to him. A golden coloured hat hides the long black hair that is placed into a bun, with a discreet hairpin holding it all in place.
Personallity:
Such a being whose self-confidence does not truely lie within the heart, something that doubts the future and in conflict with internal beliefs; however, this shall always remain behind the iron curtain that no one can view. From the outside, he has been the essence of Royalty and taking great care of the fact he is the Imperial Uncle. Grateful to each who aid his will the propelling of 'viture' has began to dwindle as his ambition begins to sore..knowing that only this way will he be taken seriously by his rivals as an equal contender. With a caring nature, he enjoys the company of others and cares greatly for those around him; a certain warmth that cannot be disliked.
Weapon:
Imperial
A delightful weapon handed to him by the Emperor Xian upon his birthday, a treasured article that places his very family within the Imperial line and a devouted servant of the Han; however, his blade may break the abyss for the name of the Han..but his banner places widely 'Shu-Han'. It's a broadsword that has a double-edged blade, enabling a variety of chances to make damage upon the enemy. The hilt is the head of a Dragon, symbolising the Throne and his very demeanour within the realm.
Weapon Strengths:
Sturdy and with a high endurance, it's sharp double-edge can seem ruthless when put into play and when wielded correctly can have a devastating strength behind each swipe.
Weapon Weaknesses:
For any man to wield Imperial is difficult, though of martial training Liu is not known for his physical prowess but more of the aura placed around him. Thus, forcing him to place more strength behind his technique than others.
Armour:
When in battle, the garb chosen by Liu is a clever design, combining robes with chain-mail upon the chest and shoulders; simply for protection and mobility. Upon the fore-arms, thighs and calves are specifically created plate armour forged for his body and carved with 'Shu-Han' and 'Liu' characters to each piece. It is light-weight and can be quite comfortable underneath robes that were made for warfare; of course, all to Liu's personal taste and colourings of the Kingdom he is trying to blossom into life.
History:
As a descendent of the Emperor Jing, through prominent Imperial lines; Liu Zhen and Liu Shang. Son to local clerk, Liu Hong, Bei's life was not of one who should be accustomed to the taste of the wealthy. Forced into poverty when his father died while he was still young, trusted with gaining funds to keep the family afloat he learned the art of sandle weaving; something he enjoyed but resented..knowing something within the Skies was waiting for the very day for his elovation to the Heavens. Within something great was waiting to burn, consuming the phoenix and tearing out the frame to devour the traitors of the very Empire he was born to. Ambitions of Emperorship, proclaiming that his future was not on the level of the durt that was becoming less fertile by draughts and simple land taxes placed upon the poor.
From a young age there was something about this boy, to which a family member who gained influence in the Courts recognised and placed him into education beyond what his direct family could ever afford. Under the guidance of Lu Zhi, Liu Bei gained knowledge of the realm and the great potential in the heart was allowed to flourish and then manipulated at will. This is when he became good friends with a rising talent, Gongsun Zan, a fierce figure who simply demanded respect of one look. Bei was the clear opposite, of a calm demeanour and always courteous to all; with the lack of passion in martial arts, that was transfered to his enjoyment of the arts, literacy and hunting. Those who befriended the growing Liu all admired him, having no bad word to place against his kindness..
Soon came the inevitable, war was breaking out around the land and the rising of the 'Yellow Turbans' was wide-spread. All thrusted their weapons to the fore and volunteers came the plenty; out of sheer willingness and devotion to the Empire out shone Bei from the others. However, he showed progress, after some minor defeats, when put in control of the much weaker and expendable volunteer forces. Meeting many of repute and great physical prowess, among them two beings who became close as brothers; Zhang Fei and Guan Yu. For the achievements made by the three, Bei gained the title of Prefect of Gaotong and military rank of Captain. The future seemed pleasant for the once sandle-weaver, yet many obstacles were rising from the horizon. Specifically one figure of a true leader and a much harsher nature than Bei's, this indeed was the power-house of Cao Cao who was rising in the Courts; even to many's displeasure.
Soon after the Yellow Turban Rebellion came another to halt the healing process of the Han, a corrupt Minister whose greed was known to all. Dong Zhuo, someone who did not enjoy obedience but detested those who would not obey his own orders, through strength and greed came the over-haul of the Courts and soon another battle was placed before them. At Hu Lao Gate the large frame of the Minister fell to the coalition headed by the Noble Yuan Shao, who no doubt took most glory from this expedition even though the coalition was a futile group...many worked for their own desires, creating internal strife within the camp.
Now? The ambitions of Liu Bei have not died, but have been placed into a height by the catalyst of words of interest and desire. Creating Yong'an the Capital of his growing force, Shu-Han, and soon gaining the city of Xinye to be the beginning of his expansion...

+ I heard that your latest Liu Bei quit, so I chose to drop Yueying and take him up so Shu has a proper leader.
