A Possible Ally? (Burai)

[Cao Cao]

Cao Cao looked over the city of Han Zhong, one of the great cities of China. A very historical city that Cao Cao has not had the pleasure to visit. This is about to change though. Though Cao Cao was not here on vacaction, he was here on personal buisness. A man named Yen Wang has recently taken control of the city, and Cao Cao was very interested in making this man an ally to him. From what he has heard about him, Yen Wang was a mighty warrior, a warrior that could stand on equal ground to Lu Bu. He has great courage and he fears no man. Cao Cao knew that the price for getting this man would not be cheap, but Cao Cao was prepared for that. He had an offer than no man could refuse. So without thinking about it any longer, Cao Cao kicked his horse down towards the gates of the city of Han Zhong.

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

“Han Zhong has been noisy the past couple of days.” Yen Wang was at the inn; enjoying a few rounds of sake, when received word. That a man on horseback was riding down to the gates.Yen Wang immediately made his way to the gates; he was grew tired with all these interruptions. He ordered the guards to open the gates and let the man through.

As the gates swung open, he folded his arms. He didn’t recognize the man, but he came alone. Yen Wang found this admirable, only a courageous being would do such a thing. Yen Wang would give the man some of his precious time. “I wonder what awaits me today.”

“M’lord should I give the order to shoot?”

Yen Wang looked over at the guard, “No you fool, he is one man. I can handle him myself. Go back to your post. If you offer another idiotic suggestion, I’ll see it as a threat; you undermining my authority. I will deal with you accordingly.”

[Cao Cao]

Cao Cao looked as when he got close to the gate of the city, it slowly opended to show a single man standing there, with his arms crossed. With no doubt, this was the ruler of the city, Cao Cao could just tell that he was. When Cao Cao arrived at the gate, he jumped off his horse and began to slowly walk towards the man. When he was a couple of yards from him, he said to the man,"Greetings, I am Cao Cao, ruler of Wei. You may have heard of me, for I have heard of you. You are, unless I am mistaken, the man known as Yen Wang, am I correct? I have come here to speak to you about a offer that I have for you, and offer that people would drool over. May I come inside so we can speak in a place more...comfortable? Not that I find this place ugly, it is by far, very beautiful. It is just I think what I have to say is best said in private."Cao Cao stood there, waiting for the man to respond. He looked over the man, realizing that the rumors were true. Cao Cao could feel this man's strength, resonating off of him. It was so strong that it almost made Cao Cao shiver.

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

Yen Wang tilted his head to the side and he watched the man hop off his horse and slowly approached him. He was curious about this man, he was either very brave. Or, very foolish. Suddenly the man introduced himself as Cao Cao, Ruler of Wei. Yen Wang never saw the man, but he had heard various rumors. “An offer that most would drool over?” His voice was rather high pitched. He was slightly intrigued. The Ruler of Wei came all this way for an offer?

Yen Wang took a moment to consider what the man wanted to talk about. Nothing came to mind; for the ruler of Wei to come here alone, that was quite daring. Yen Wang’s name began to drift along the winds. Surely those rumors had to carry something terrifying, yet this man sought him out? Yen Wang turned to the side, “Very well, Since you seem to require strength, and my curiosity I will allow you entrance Cao Cao..I personally welcome you to Han Zhong. Be wary, I am not known for my hospitality.”

He motioned him to follow; he began to walk back to the castle; “Tell me about this offer.”

[Cao Cao]

Cao Cao nodded to Yen Wang and walked behind him, looking around the city as he did so. The city was really beautiful, and the people looked pretty happy. It looks like this Yen Wang knows how to run a city. When Yen told him to tell him Cao Cao's offer, he cleared his throat and said,"Okay, you are a strong, smart man. A person of ambition, just as I am. I could use your strength. Here is my offer, I shall give you my city of Chen Liu, if you swear alligieance to me. If you accept my offer, you will not have to worry about the city because you shall have me to guard it, meaning that you can worry or focus on more important things. Also, you will not have to worry about losing control, since it has strong enough defenses to stop it from being taken. What do you say to that, Yen Wang?"

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

Yen Wang kept in stride, as Cao Cao spoke. He closed his eyes for a moment as he walked, "Another city?" The thought circulated through his mind. Another city would help him bolster his army quite a bit, and he would gain a strong ally. Yen Wang's mind weighed the offer heavily. He opened his eyes, as the slid open he saw the castle gates coming into view.

He motioned to the guard,s to open the gates. As they did so he turned around, "That is quite the offer. Most would leap for joy with that offer. Why make such an offer to me? "

[Cao Cao]

Cao Cao looked at Yen Wang and said to him,"You are a strong and wise man, and in this chaotic time I need every ally I can get. Also, if I make an alliance with you, then I will only have to worry about one person who might attack me since they are nearby. The person I am talking about is Liu Bei. If I give you my city, I was hoping that you could help me defeat this man. Though let me point this out, if he defeats me, his next move will be to take you out, if we stick together, we can defeat him and we can stay alive longer. What do you say, Yen Wang?"As Cao Cao said this he stuck his hand out for Yen Wang to shake, solidifying the deal.

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

“I see, if that is all. Then I shall ‘deal’ with Shu personally.” Yen Wang looked down at Cao Cao’s hand. He rather not indulge in such a meager condition, but he would be getting something out of it. He slowly stretched out his hand to greet Cao Cao’s. He firmly grasped Cao Cao’s hand, “As I said before I shall deal with Liu Bei. Don’t worry about them attacking you, set your eyes elsewhere.”

Yen Wang let go of his hand and stood up straight. “I will go visit Chen Liu soon, I would appreciate it if you would be as kind to remove any of your banners and your troops. I will send a few of my troops there and they make modifications.” Yen Wang smiled, with that threat out of the way he could set his eyes on expansion. Wei will be a formidable ally, Other armies will have to think twice before engaging Wei or Konton-Kaze.

[Cao Cao]

Cao Cao smiled as he shook Yen Wang's hand. The deal was sealed, he was now allies with Yen Wang. Though what concerned Cao Cao was what Yen said about Shu. Did he really just say that he was going to defeat them by his own? Did he not want his new formed ally to help him? Though Cao Cao did not think that he could not take Shu out, Cao Cao just thought that they would work together. Though Cao Cao trusted Yen Wang, and anyways, it would allow Cao Cao to worry about other things. Though Cao Cao just had one question for Yen,"I shall leave them to you then though if I may ask, is it possible for me to get at least one of Shu's land? I am just curious..."Cao Cao knew what would most likely come out of Yen's mouth but he wanted to at least see if he could get one of Shu's lands.

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

Cao Cao's question was random, but it wasn't unreasonable. Yen Wang chuckled at the sight of his ambition. "I wish to demonstrate my brilliance. Cao Cao, I said I would eliminate the threat, but that still isn't enough?" He took a moment to collect his thoughts and let out a sigh. "If the situation presents itself, I will be sure to take the city. If Konton-Kaze is doing well, I would gladly hand over the city to you."

Yen Wang glanced at the man; he wasn't aware there was others who had a thirst for power, such as he did. Yen Wang vision was looking into the future.

[Cao Cao]

"I understand, and with that I must say goodbye, I need to go back to Chen Liu to get it ready for your arrival. I wish you luck on your future endevours, and that no spear or sword come close to cutting your life short."As Cao Cao said this, he bowed to Yen Wang and turned around and began to walk towards his horse. After he got to his horse, he got onto it and he rode away from the city, towards Chen Liu, there were things that needed to be done.
