What is Right?(Wu Ban)

Cao Cao arrived in the city of Xin Ye with great hopes. He was here to meet with the man known as Liu Bei, a man that attracts large amounts of people with something that Cao Cao was still trying to figure out. What made this peasent so much more interesting or better than Cao Cao. Though Cao Cao was not there to insult the man, he was there, in fact, to make an alliance with Shu. If Liu Bei agrees, then Cao Cao can move unaposed as he took the north, dealing with the only threat of the north, Gongsun Zan. Cao Cao needed this alliance to go through, he just has to.

Cao Cao arrived at the gates and the guards, for reason's unknown, let him in. It is as if they expected his arrival. Not really thinking about it, Cao Cao got off his horse and began to walk into the city, not knowing where to go, and just decides to go straight until he found the palace. Cao Cao was too prideful to ask where the palace was located at, he would just find it on his own.

Wu Ban was in the throne room of the city since Lord Liu Bei made him the leader of this location. He was not used such a big responsibility but for him it was just a test that he needed to pass. He was sitting on the throne thinking that this day was not going to be anywhere he thought. He had two guards one at each side of him and ten all the length of the red carpet that lead to his throne. The door was wide open from the beginning and not caring if someone wanted to talk to him or fight him at this moment he was welcoming anyone and anything that might come but all he could do is stop them from attacking but with his guards that should not be a problem unless they have the same attitude as himself so he was not afraid either way since he could defend himself really well.

All of the sudden a guard arrived in the room breathing heavily that makes another guard hold him up seeing that he had trouble but Wu Ban told the second guard to stand his position and went to help the guard himself. He placed the guard up and then placed him on the throne so he could get his breath before he would die from the missing oxygen in his lungs. Wu Ban then looked at him and decided to wait for the answer of the man cause he knew that the questions was easy as what was the problem that made the man run in so fast he almost died from missing the oxygen for his lungs at this day was making him feel worst since he needed to work for his lord Liu Bei at this moment.

“Master Wu Ban, We just saw Lord Cao Cao enter the city and I believe he might want to meet with Liu Bei but since you are the second in command and also the one that is controlling this city I believe you should be the one to speak to him. I have sent two guards at the entrance of the temple to intercept him and also to take his weapon away since Cao Cao is not known as one of our allies but we both know that might be why he is here.”

“Very well, I want to see this man for myself since I do not know him and he is one man would be nice to know. Next time you have news for me young man do not run you will get yourself hurt or even worst.”

The guard that was beside him when he was at the throne followed Wu Ban when he was walking toward the window seeing Lord Cao Cao was at the entrance being blocked by the guards that were watching the entrance of the temple. The guard went beside Wu Ban and was curious about what was going in the head of the officer that was second in command of Shu.

“Master Wu, are you sure that you want to meet with this man he can be here to behead you and we both know if that happens he will want to kill you. I know you are hard to beat in the battle but we both know you may not destroy a whole army alone. I know I am only one of your guard but please do think about what I just said”

Wu Ban listens to the man’s comments and worries. He then nodded as he respected the words of wisdom from this guard but he wanted to meet the man and without a weapon he knows that he would have a huge advantage no matter what happens today he will not die by the hands of Cao Cao unless he wanted to die himself.

[Cao Cao]

Cao Cao, after wandering several minutes around the city, came upon the palace. Though as soon as he came to the doors, he was stopped by guards. Cao Cao knew what they wanted and before they even spoke, Cao Cao pulled out his sword and handed it to the closest guard. After he did that, he bowed to the guard and waited for the dim witted fools to open the door. Not even waiting for them to open the door, Cao Cao began to walk forward, expecting the palace's doors to be open by the time he reached them.

Wu Ban was looking outside still with his guard that was right beside him. One of the guard that were supposed to be at the door and ran in once more without any oxygen in his lungs making Wu Ban place his hand on his hand and then takes the sword of his guard that watched his lord walking toward the man knowing why he was there he signalled the guard closest to the entrance to go and open the door the way he wanted to it happen. He walked toward the man and knees the man in the gut making him fall on his knees and he was beheaded not long after the man fell on his behind. The blood was covering the whole length of the blade was covered and he then took a piece of cloth from the dead guard he killed and use it to clean the blood of the blade and gave it back to the guard that used it.

The guard that left the location was running to the door and open it the exact moment that lord Cao Cao was at the moment to hit his face in the door it was finally opening before he touched it. He also keeled in front of Lord Cao Cao and looked at him in the face. He signalled the lord to follow him since he was going to escort the lord to the one he was going to meet face to face with at this day.

"Lord Cao Cao, I will be the man to escort you to mast Wu Ban. He is the second in command for lord Liu Bei and he is also the one that is running this city for lord Liu Bei. I will also warn you and do not tell him I said these words to you. He is a hot tempered person if you are here to attack him I would make sure to reconsider or you might be the one that will be dead before the end of your visit. I will also be at the door for when you leave to make sure you may also find your way out and if you need a location to rest for the night I will be your escort to your room also."

They continued to walk until the doors of the throne room was opening all you saw was a guard that lost his head on the ground with a mess of blood under the body. You were also able to see a piece of cloth around five inches of the body that was covered in crimson blood from the victims. The escorting guard stayed the other side of the door like he said he was going to since he was kinda scared of the officer that Lord Cao Cao was about to meet for the first time he just hopped that Cao Cao took his warning serious or he might need to clean up the floor of blood he just hopes he was not the one that will have to be the one to clean the blood and damage that officer Wu Ban was going to do at the end of the day.

Cao Cao payed no attention to the sniveling sounds of the guard escorting him. They were just empty words and threats, and when it came to action, they would just run away and cower in a corner like the dogs that they are. When Cao Cao finally entered the throne room, he took a look at the ruler of the city, did a quick bow and said to him,"Greetings, you know who I am so let's just get to what I am here for. I am interested in an alliance with your lord, Liu Bei. It would be in your best intrest to comply. You know, certainly what Wei is capable of and if we work together, we can create a new era of peace. So what do you say?"As Cao Cao said this, he laughed inside at the emptiness of those words. "A new era of peace?" Ha! Even Cao Cao knew there will never be peace, always fighting, that is the way of humans. There might be a small time period of peace, but it is only there for us to lick our wounds and regrow our forces for more battling and more death. Though what Cao Cao is looking for is a way to stay on top of all the wars, and keep the fighting to as small an amount as possible.
