Long Walk (Burai)

The day was in a huge wind and the trees were quickly losing there leaves. The clouds were coming quickly enough to cover the sky that you may no longer see the sky that you wanted or even the good sun to have a little heat or feeling of light was in the region. The ground was dry for now the only thing that could change it if it rains during these time of coverage in the sky. The small river of the region was far deep in the middle of the forest making it hard for the people to get some water to have a drink or even to wash some blood of there body from either a enemy or them selves.


Wang Ling was walking in the forest looking around see if anything was more lovely then the sight of a baby rabbit eating its breakfast in the morning when she left her family behind to be more with people that were not talking like animals. She saw a big tree and she was getting a bit tired from walking a good amount of time in the wilderness. She climbs the big tree from one branch to another she found on that was perfect to rest on. She takes her bag she brought with her which had water and a small meal for herself and place it behind her head and decided to look toward the small river and watch.


She looked at the river for a while until she sees a deer that was drinking from the river. The fur was ​ brown with a few white spots on it's back making it seem so young to be alone in the wilderness and so much in the open for a predator that can just come out of nowhere and just attack it. She then realized that the deer had two long antlers that were at least a eight point even do it looked so young it must be over a year or two just to be able to have antlers. She continued watching the animal until it stopped drinking and decided to leave the location that she could no longer could see the lovely animal taking a nice drink of water for it self to make sure it survived and not die in thirst.


S​he decided that it was time to get off the tree and go to the road and see if there was anything interesting going on over there. She jumped of the tree landing on her two feet like a cat if it only had two paws to land on. She walked toward the road quietly to make sure she does not attract any of the animals that might want to eat humans mostly scared to be attack by a Tiger or a wolf in these location. Even do she knew a wolf will never attack her in any situation she decided calmly walk so she would not have the chance to prove herself wrong without anyone close to her to make sure she does not get hurt. Finally she arriver on the road and sat down on a rock that was on the side of the road wondering if she would meet someone interesting at this day.

Yen Wang was on the road to Han Zhong. He was taking on the duty himself hoping that he would encounter bandits or a group of vagabonds. The day seemed to be steadily, he secretly hated these days. Nothing eventful would ever happen to him. Han Zhong had been active recently; he brought life back into this dull and hollow city. He had even made quite the name of himself. Travelers who ventured to Han Zhong knew of the demon that lived there.

Yen Wang was basking in his own milestones, when he took notice to a young woman who was sitting on a rock. Questions arose in his mind; he been on this road a hundred times. Not once had he seen this woman. Who was she? Yen Wang ‘s questions needed to be answered. He walked further up the road to close the distance between the two. He stepped off the road and approached the woman on the rock. Yen Wang brushed his hair and fixed his bangs. He needed to look presentable at all times.

He stopped two feet away “Yen Wang, ‘Ruler of Han Zhong.’ “ He nodded his head slightly as he introduced himself. “And your name is?” He leaned in as he spoke, he examined her thoroughly. He didn’t see her before. He squint his eyes as he stared at her, while he waited for her reply. Han Zhong has been getting a lot of weird visitors as of late.

W​ang Ling was sitting in the rain that just started while she feel asleep while sitting when she heard the voice of a man that seems to think she was awake. She slowly looked at the man and heard his name and also that he was the ruler of these location but she just never heard of his name before which was kinda weird since she believed that she knew every ruler of China but she knew it was possible so she also knew that she needed to show the nice man that came to her with some respect. She slowly got up and faced the handsome man that she felt something in her heart which for her was kinda different since she lived she never felt this way for someone. She felt that he was to good looking for her heart and was hurting her making her even more shy she ever was which for her made it even worst making herself sick in her own stomach.

"I​ am miss Wang Ling. I am from your city since I was around the age of ten years old but I am affraid that I never heard your name before or even saw your beutifull face either."

S​he blushed quickly noticing what she just said. She knew she was thinking it but why did she said it out loud she will mostly never know. She looked at the ground that was turning into mud. She then looked at her clothes that were soaked by the rain that was falling on her making her clothes a bit see through she was just happy she was wearing her underwear at this day. She looked at the forest seeing a tree that was blocking most of the rain and then saw a cave and the rain and thunder was getting fierce. She slowly took the man hand and ran with him to the cave a while a strike of lightning hitting a tree five miles from them and saw it fall while it was spliten in two pieces they could of killed them if they were not in the cave.

"I am so sorry to make you come here I just believed that you did not want to die knowing that you lead a whole city. I am also sorry that I said you had a beutifull face I do not know were that came from. I believe that we should wait out the rain I know you might be busy but it is better then risking your life in that storm and die."

S​he left the Yen Wang and sits in the cornor of the cave and watched the storm and leaving a small place for Yen Wang to sit next to her if he wwanted but she had a idea that he has someone already since he is too good looking and also to powerfull in many ways. The first one he looked so strong that he could protect anyone that he will be able to protect anyone that he would ever love and also he is a ruler which made everyone want him making her feel with no chance in the end of her life she would die alone if she tried to get him.

The woman introduce herself, as Wang Ling. She said she was a residence of Han Zhong, but Yen Wang never seen or heard of her. He was sure he hasn’t seen everyone in Han Zhong, but a woman like this? He would never forget. Wang Ling said his face was beautiful. The compliment caught him off guard, but she had great taste.

The rain began to fall heavily; Yen Wang stared at the woman as she blushed. It was cute seeing her act so timidly, made him feel special. He looked at her face, his eyes stared at hers. He wanted to know what caught her attention. He looked down at her clothes, and her undergarments where starting to become visible. Yen Wang looked away and blushed, Wang Lang took his hand and led him into a cave.

The sounds of the storm echoed through-out the cave. She apologized for protecting him and calling him beautiful. She walked away from him and moved to the corner of the cave. Since Wang Ling’s eyes were diverted, he decided to remove his clothing. He slowly removed his light azure kimono, black chest plate and his gloves. Once they were off he folded them and placed them in a neat pile. He slowly walked over to Wang Ling and sat down next to her. “It’s nice you see you worry about my safety, but if you take care of yourself and if you think I’m beautiful say so. Don’t hesitated you will never know when you’ll get another chance.”

He began to shiver, Yen Wang tucked his arms in and tried his best to keep himself warm. Yen Wag hated the cold with a passion. It was such a dreadful feeling having your limbs and body freeze. “I am not much for the cold. I simply hate it. Let up lean against each other to stay warm.”

S​he looked at him and slowly took out of her bag a blanket that was made in a cloth materiel that were not really rare but not really common either. She then gives it to Yen Wang and gets up. She slowly walked down and placed it slowly beside Wang armour. She then slowly got off her soaked clothes so she does not get the flue even do she was used to live in the cold she knew during a big coldness the best way to stay warm is to actually stay close to each other for the warmth of the bodies like it was said by the people of the tribe that she used to lived with a long time ago.

S​he slowly removed the robe that she wore at this day and place it slowly and softly over her bag and kept her underwear trying to hide a bit her body proving that she was not used being with another person when she did not have her robe. She walked back over to the man she was with in this dark cave. During the time she walked it was easy to say that she had a scar on her stomach that happened when she was younger. She then slowly goes under the blanked and slides closer to Wang trying to make sure he was kept warm and to also make sure not one of them would get a deadly sickness since he was a ruler he needed to be a healthy man that lives for a long time.

She slowly examines the man chest and blush on how good his body looked she was nervous and wondering why he wanted to get close to her if it really was just for the warmth of her body or if it was another reason. She tried to think if there was something she could do more for the man to make sure that he was not going to freeze if that was really the reason. She slowly placed her hair on his chest trying to show him that she was comfortable with this but hopping that he does not think she wants to play with him. She never have touched another man like she is currently placing her head on his chest holding him trying to keep each other warm was all new to the girl since she never found anyone that she wanted to make sure they were healthy and not sick.

"I hope I am not going to far currently since I never really been close to another human being before except my parents but they were never out of the robes or armour when I saw them. I​ am going to ask this question and I would prefer if you were honest with me. Do you not have a loved one or even a wife in your situation making her really important to you? The only reason I asked that is that I cannot believe that you would even talk to someone like me little less actually getting out of your armour in front of me."

Wang Lang took a blanket, out of her hand and gave it to Yen Wang. She abruptly got up and walked away from him. He was rather disappointed, he came over there so that he could stay warm. Now, she wanted to relocate? He let out a brief sigh, and mumbled, “Women..are such troublesome creatures.” Yen Wang wasted no time getting comfortable underneath the blanket. He looked outside the cave, “This is the heavens doing. What are they planning?” With that in mind he was curious to see what she was doing, so he tilted his head to the side. His eyes subtly rolled over until Wang Ling was in full view.

She was slowly peeling off her robe; revealing more of herself to him. This caught him by surprise, he had been in a cave before and only he and rasa removed their clothing. The females kept themselves fully clothed fir the most part. “She has no shame, I do not bold well with such women…” It took a lot to humble Yen Wang, and she didn’t it with a small gesture. He saw her trying to cover herself up; showing that she embarrassed, or shy. Yen Wang looked away from her, he didn’t want to make her feel any more uncomfortable. Wang Ling eventually walked back over to him, and she got underneath the covers with him.

She scooted close to him. Yen Wang didn’t think much of it, the two were trying to survive. She slowly placed her hair on his chest. Yen Wang diverted his eyes elsewhere as he slightly blushed. She was trying to keep him warm. She was shy a moment ago and now this. He couldn’t understand how the mind of a woman worked. He barely understood how his worked. Wang Ling voiced her concerns, and tied a few questions.

“Love you say?” He thought about how he should approach this. Many men would put themselves in a better position with this woman. Yen Wang was a deity, one that didn’t fear the truth. No relationship should be formed off a lie. Yen Wang didn’t know how to answer her question properly, a simple yes or no would be enough, but not for him. “I have no wife, I fear I never will. I am demon upon humans. No person in their right mind would love a monster..” He had nimbly avoided her question, “There is a woman, and she is not under my banner. Yet, we have strong feelings for one another. It’s still too early to say that she is my wife, but she’s important. She is will be the only thing that will keep me and Liu Bei from killing each other.”

Yen Wang sighed deep within his heart, he knew he did the right thing. Lying to her would’ve been more beneficial. But, he had a soft spot for beautiful women. He prepared himself for the worst, and banged his head on the back of the wall. Yen Wang thought about Zhu Rong, she did seem like the possessive type. Yen Wang stopped his current thinking; he looked down at Wang Ling “I am quite honored to receive your hospitality. A beautiful woman like you has nothing to worry about when it comes to suitors, or men. They’ll all be lining up to take your hand. I would be first in line if I could...”

S​he was kinda surprised that he told the truth about what was going on but she was happy to see how much that he loved the girl that he fell in love with. She got up slowly and smiled at the man that just rejeted her for another women which hurted hereven do she did not show it easily it was obvious if you know how to read the people in the eyes. She goes to her bags once more feeling the guilt that she went so close to a man that already have someone in his life. The rain was finally stopping after a long discussion she knew that he was going to be happy with the girl that he was already with but that only means that she had no room with him or that she might make the other ealous which will only be worst for the man that says that he is a demon inside a human but he is more a angel inside a demon that is inside a human.

She got out her second dress that was in her bag and placed it as quickly as she could so that he could no longer look at her body knowing that it is wrong for a man that is inlove with someone to see someone else almost naked and to place things worst almost naked and also wet. She was in her clothes that were clean and dry. She looked one last time at the man that she knew will never be and smiled once more trying to imagine if they were together how wounderfull it would of been for her but she knew he was happy with the other or he would not of told her they were toguether.

"I​ want you to be happy lord Yen Wang but I am affraid if I stay here longer that you might feel guilt for the one that you love. I am not comftable with being with you like this since tht you are with someone the guilt would kill me in the future. I hope you might rule China some day but we will see how the time will go and how the battles will kill more of the people and also more of the land."

She left running and crying, the woods were empty and she knew she ran straight to the city to her home knowing that she meet the one she was sure that her heart was going to be and he is already with another girl. She felt things she never felt before. One of those things are jealousy something that she never even knew that existed in these lands. The second is that she felt dirty going close to the man that was already taken and also letting him see her flesh more then anyone else ever saw it since that she was a little baby and needed her parents to change her clothes. The last one was the worst one in her mind was that she was angry at the fact that someone took him before she had the chance to meet him was hurting her from inside she was ust happy the one that took care of her died many years ago or he would yell at her for trying to convince someone to love her without knowing they were with someone or not.
