The Serpent King returns from the dead, resurrected by none other than the infamous concubine Da Ji and her beloved husband King Zhou of Shang. Upon ressurection, Orochi reveals his demonic ability to corrupt the souls of others through his malicious will. With this new power humanity faces a new crisis as the cleanliness of a soul is the only thing seperating salvation from annihilation. Now bolstered with this ability and motivated through the discontent of previous failures, the Serpent Lord now seeks to wage a final war against humanity. Orochi once more weaves the fabrics of space and time distorting the universe as we know in aid of his own pleasures, summoning forth the greatest heroes not only from the Three Kingdoms Era and Sengoku Jidai but throughout history and beyond to test their mortal might against a God. Now, humanity stands on the brink of extinction as the serpentine war-machine churns with revenge. The war drums pound in the distance, flags of every colour flail in the cruel raptures of this realm and every warrior is clad in armour from head to toe. This will be the end.
