At the Tokyo Game Show 08 event, KOEI have announced Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 scheduled for release sometime next year for North America and Europe! Teaser Trailer Below |

nice one, they usually make xtreme legends first, this should be great (especially if everyone has their own weapon)

Yup oh and one thing is that the clones from DW6 will be returning which means no unique moves from DW6 Special for the PS2.

Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires TGS Teaser Trailer Mistake? Could KOEI have made a mistake on the TGS trailer for Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires? In the trailer, it shows the Dynasty Warriors 6 (Shin Sangokumusou 5 Special) characters with their old cloned weapon. But in the CG movie of Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires, it seems Yue Ying is actually using her new "de-cloned" weapon which she used in DW6 Special (PS2)... |

Koei stated that Create A Character will be returning. So you can create your own DW6 character!

I prefer the old Meng Huo. The main reason the Nanman were great was because they were funny. but he doesn't look very funny (apart from him weapon)

I personally thought the Nanman were really stupid in all the other games. How could people that are so cowardly and idiotic possibly pose a threat to all 3 kingdoms? It just didn't seem right. This meng on the other hand looks like he'd completely destroy people and that's what I like to see =P

Iv never liked the nanman they are just savages so i cant see them as being a threat.
This meng looks even more like that but at least he looks like he could actually fight well the others have looked to fat to even fight.

he looks like a gorilla there, look at those feet whats more smelly than that?
something bothers me, why the hell his weapon there is a stone figure? and are the trying to make his might match Dian Wei?

personally i think its the DW6 weapon craze. lots of weapons in DW now would never really work in real life, and some are just wierd.
nobody could use a pillar in a real fight, even if they could lift it it would be too slow and inacurate
