Yup well I have more news and guess what? There are 2 new Characters!! ^_^  The left one is Taigong Wang, a Chinese semi-myth figure who was also known as Jiang Ziya. His weapon is a fishing rod. Oh, and he is Tai in the PS2 and GameCube game Mystic Heroes! And the right one is Taira no Kiyomori, a general in the Heian Period. His weapon is a big rosary. |

Both of them look pretty cool. Except, I think the fishing rod in kind of strange to me.

Oh yes, I know of Jiang Ziya and Taira no Kiyomori. I loved Mystic Heroes, and "Tai" was always my favorite one to use. This is awesome!

I am surprised they came up with another WO so fast. I wonder if they will bring in Daji's two sisters in the sequel. That would really make things interesting!

It has not been confirmed yet when will it be out in the U.S and U.K.
the Release Date for Japan will be on April 3rd 2008

Yes, she has two sisters. Da Ji's two younger sisters: Zhi Ji (good luck prouncing her name, English VAs!!) and Pi Pa, who are actually Nu Wa's underlings (including Da Ji).

A fishing rod works for him because in the legend he is associated with, he often went angling at the Weishui River, but he would fish in a bizarre way. He hung a straight hook, with no bait, three feet above the water. His fishing tactics got the attention of guards and court officials, and they went to tell the king. Eventually he got the attention of King Wen, became his military strategist, and aided him in the overthrow of the Shang Dynasty, and the founding of the Zhou Dynasty.

don't know much about chinese history except for the three kindoms era. I will take your word for it.
But Kiyomori? I wonder why they picked him (i know about him btw)

Being that Taira no Kiyomori is from the Heian Period, this tells me that Orochi is mixing up more than just the the Warring States Period of Japan.
