Its already out in Japan but the release dates for U.K and U.S is still Unknown.

All characters have the old costumes back from their previous instalment
All DW5 characters will have their costumes from DW4 and all SW2 characters
will have their SW1 costumes back.

I have found out that Warriors Orochi 2 Rebirth Of The Demon Lord will come to the U.S around September Of 2008! the actual date is still to be confirmed.

Yeah This game looks awesome.

^_^ I may be getting it before the US release From a friend with connections.

And it is definitely worth drooling over. I haven't wanted a game this badly since I had to wait for Twilight Princess on Gamecube.

I can't wait! Shin Orochi looks so hotter in that type..*drools*I need him! :\ lol I love guys with white or gray hair(except old people)...*looks at Orochi and Shin Orochi* They look so different..its like a new model..but...why is there 2 orochi?

From what I can piece together:

In the first game, Orochi was killed at the end.

The new game is called Rebirth of the Demon Lord for a reason. Orochi comes back to life, and due to his resurrection, somehow he is more powerful. He has a new, stronger form, and he is called Shin Orochi, because of this.

It's just a way for them to make him stronger, more of a challenge. They had to bring Orochi back to life, so there could be a second game. You can't really have a Warriors Orochi without an Orochi

a stronger Orochi? Your kidding? He was tough enough in the last one, when he could kill you in a few hits!

Well, you do get to combine weapons and things like that. To make them even more powerful. So really you can play around on it and craft yourself a strong one, can't you?

And since you can get 4th level weapons on Easy, along with other things, that should make things easier still.

Plus, I would imagine they have it where you can get your characters even stronger, to compensate for Shin Orochi's new prowess.

I cant wait for this! I'm so excited! Somebody pinch me! Ok don't pinch me really. Shin Orochi looks the same but white hair whiter skin and his torso armor. I can see his chest which makes me think that he's hot.

Odd. Shin Orochi looks sick. Though. How did he change to his form. He was normal last time.

went to the london expo thingy, and played the game there. it pretty much looks the same, except for that there are some different orochi serpent officers, and a lot of new characters.
Didn't get to play any of them though, except that the Monkey King can move really really fast and attacks a bit like Zhou Yu in DW6

oh and a lot of new maps and stuff.

Orochi gets a new form because he is reborn. I'm not sure of the entirety of it. But maybe it unlocks more of his demonic powers, making him a tougher adversary.
