Power herb eh? *goes to check* Unfortunately Mismagius can't learn Solarbeam, the only Grass move it can learn is Magical Leaf I think.
Yeah I'm really considering buying Platinum if only for all the neat little bonuses it has. Like picking up rare items off the ground. The thing is though its pricing is still quite high, and I'm not really willing to pay that much when SoulSilver and HeartGold are coming out in about three weeks.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who spent an hour (+) fishing for a Dragon Scale. Tricky things to get a hold of.
Certainly. In games there needs to be a fine balance of difficulty especially nowadays because of so many casual gamers. To be honest Pokémon can be as difficult or as easy as you make it, it all depends on your choices.
Dragonites are one of my faves. It does suck though that it takes until lvl 55 to evolve them into Dragonite, because by then you're basically at the end of the game. Ah, Salamence. I would admit that its superior if not for the fact it can't learn many of the moves that Dragonite can.

Aw thats a shame as i said magical leaf is alright early in the game but later on power isn't strong enough. Although since it cant miss its not a bad finish them off move i suppose.
Yeah platinum is certainly a lot more convenient because of the items but i would not buy it just for that. The battle frontier option is also only little better than the battler tower. Few more different battle modes is all, otherwise feels the same.
Finding that scale wasn't the worst lol. Try searching for a Bagon using Poke-radar its a absolute nightmare.
The problem for any dragon type is that it has only 4 move slots and soooo many possible moves that i want. So for me its never really been an issue that dragonite has more moves because i would not be able to fit them in anyway lol. Even 8 move slots would not be enough. My move set is i think Flamethrower, Fly, earthquake, outrage

It does suffice early on to middle-way, but when the opponents get higher levelled it does leave something to be desired. The can't miss thing can be very helpful from time to time however, which does give it another positive. Oh well, no real reason to buy it then. Pearl wasn't very interesting to me and I wouldn't want to repeat the whole process in another game which isn't very different. Ah yes, I can imagine. Bagons are rare to begin with in other games, but PokéRader must make it ridiculous. Four move slots is never enough, especially not for Pokémon like the Dragon types who can often learn so many moves. I guess it just makes it that bit more difficult in composing a team, but also part of the fun. In a way. Oh, good move set.
