Yuan Shao, a member of the great Yuan family, was stationed in Lou Yang helping He Jin defend the emperor. Yuan Shao had achieved a high position of power due to being related to a former emperor. He approached the main barracks of He Jin. He made his way to the room where He Jin was in. "He Jin, the yellow turbans have broken out in a wide spread rebellion, we must raise arms against this tyranny." Yuan Shao stuck his hand in the air with a closed fist.

He Jin looked at the man before laughing, either he had been in a coma for the past few months or he was playing a joke upon He Jin. He sighed before greeting the man, tightening his eyes around him. He Jin was the Imperial Grand Commander, he would be the one who decided who got troops, assistance and went to war therefore relations with this man were clearly important.
"Yuan Shao, nice to see you. Indeed, the Yellow Turbans are nothing more then a rabble that needs to be crushed."
He Jin said, raising his fist and crushing the air inbetween his fingers before standing up from his chair and greeting the man more warmly.
"Do take a seat, now that your here i have a few requests to make of you."
He said, gently pulling upon a chair and welcoming him to talk. Yuan Shao was knowing for his bloodline, the Yuan family were glorious people and were loyal to the Han and had been. He Jin made no misjudgement of this man, he could be trusted.
"I require you to ensure this Yellow Turban rebellion goes no further, therefore i'm granting you 1000 of the Emperors men to do so. Use them wisely, Master Yuan Shao or pay the price. These aren't simple militia, these men are trained. If the Emperor heres of you misusing his men... well lets just say your platter will not be a nice one."
He Jin said, writing a small note upon a piece of paper before handing it to him. Issuing him 1,000 of the Emperors men to put down the Yellow Turbans. If he could prove himself, then more rewards would be in store.
"Is there anything else i can help you with? If not i'd ask you to leave me, I'm extremely busy though it was nice to see you Lord Yuan."

Yuan Shao was delighted that he had been given troops from He Jin. "Thank you ever so much sir! I will send a letter to all the great warlords and generals to help eradicate this scum" Yuan Shao left the palace to get his troops and write a letter.

Gonsun Zan came to see He Jin as a representative of the prestigious Gongsun family that acted as warden's against the barbarians of the north. He rode unescorted threw the streets of Lou Yang mounted on his white charger. Although the people did not know him they made way before him like a shoal of fish avoiding a predator. It was never wise to block a powerful noble tearing at full speed down the streets on a large white stallion. He soon reached the palace courtyard and dismounted with the speed and expertise of a true rider. He did not need anyone to see to his mount. He just whispered to it as he patted its head when he turned away he was sure it would still be there when he came back. These southern men just did not know how to handle horses.
"Ha i see the Emperor has plenty of gold but does he have an true men. Does he have any warriors capable to putting down the yellow menace?" Gongsun Zan mused as he announced himself and allowed the guards to show to in to see regent He Jin. He had heard of He Jin even in the far north of Bei Ping. They said he was a butcher risen to high rank due to his sisters beauty in seducing the former emperor. Either way he did not care what did birth matter compared to ability. He soon thrusts into the room making a small courtly bow to He Jin as his rank required.
“My lord I am Gongsun Zan a minor lord from the north. I come here as a representative of my family which has kept the northern border of this land secure for generations against the barbarians. My lord I and my family know much of warfare and now that a threat has arisen from within the land against the Emperor I have come to assist you. My lord I request a command of troops so that i might put my experience to use in defeating these traitors.” Gongsun Zan finished staring boldly at He Jin. He spoke bluntly and quickly as was his way he knew what he was hear for and he would not dance around the subject. He stood stock still tall and straight like a warrior born. His whole attitude said ‘here was a man that can get things done’.

The palace was heavily guards but only against people who challenged the Han, clearly Gongsun Zan was a part of the Han and was here to swear allegiance and to fight for them. The guards allowed him through to present himself before He Jin. He Jin was in the middle of his office at the time, he had a lust for battle - these turbans gave him reason to fight.
He Jin welcomed the man to his quarters - his reputation was as big as the mans ego, he hoped the stories about the Gongsun family were true and that he could put his words to action.
"Ah, Master Gongsun Zan. It is a delight to see you have travelled this far. Though you are only small at the moment - perhaps current circumstance will allow you to grow. I require loyal warlords to keep the Han firm and put down these "rebels". The Gongsun family is well known for its abilities of defence and warfare therefore i will grant your wish though on my terms.
He announced, starting to write another note of troops of Gongsun Zan. The imperial army was vast in troops, it would only be a fragment. But put to good use would prove highly useful for the lords who would be so lucky.
"You cannot use these troops for anything other then crushing the Yellow Turbans. You will use them to the best of your skill. Your performance with these men will outcome further judgements upon you - Do not dissapoint the Emperor and the Han!"
He said handing over the note to Gongsun Zan, in which he could claim the troops. A simple company of 1,000 men. A strong unit, but nothing able to conquer lands. They would be well equipped and well-trained. The Han lacked loyal generals and therefore He Jin manipulated the best in the land to come forth and serve under him for rewards. Restoring the Han and crushing rebellions.
"Prove yourself worthy Master Gongsun, that is all? I hope to hear news that you have exceeded my expectations."
He said laughing before seeing the man to the door.

Yuan Shao made his way back to the imperial palace, He Jin was at the door where he was showing Gongsun out. "He Jin, two men who will be great value to the coalition i have formed have little men. I am requesting that you allow them to have some men. They will be great value to the cause. Please sir." Yuan shao bowed to He Jin and waited for his reply.

"It may be a small enough troop but with a strong leader now. The barbarians have taught us often enough that even a small company can cause great damage. Such will be may way of dealing with the enemy. You will no have wait long for initial reports of my success." Gongsun Zan said as bowing he accepted the note giving him command of the 1000 Han troops. That he meant every word he said was obvius his tone left no doubt of that. He seemed almost posses of a ruthless lust for battle and a dangerous competence that suggested combat for him in the near future. He laughed as well although for perhaps different reasons than He Jin. He finally had a chance to prove to the imperial court who was the true master of warfare.
“Just wait my lord and I will reap a grand harvest of their dead and sow the ground with their life blood. I shall not sit back and watch the empire fall they shall taste my blade before the week is out.” Gongsun Zan smiled and turned to leave. One might even think given his attitude that he was either insane or posses of great arrogance. Only one thing was for certain you did not want to be the yellow turban he first meet.
He passed Yuan Shao on his way out but he ignored the man. He had things to do and forces to raise. He could not defeat the enemy all by himself although he could certainly try. He was determined to be the first into battle to inspire the other's.

He Jin looked at the man with a questioned stare. He was pushing his luck a little. Whether the man served him or not didn't allow him to have extra troops. He Jin nodded at the man, he had clearly pushed a nerve inside He Jins skull.
"More troops? These are the finest troops in the land, If you wish to share your men that is fine. But I will donate my troops so freely. I do not even know of this man you speak off, who can say your not lying? Please remove yourself from my eyes immediately before I change my ideas and take my troops back!"
He said hastily. One thousand troops was generous enough from He Jin. Trained men didn't grow on trees. Yuan Shao would have to work for the rest if he wanted them. He Jin nodded before dismissing the man from his sight and returning to his devoirs.
"Why can't you be more grateful like Master Gongsun Zan! You are both dismissed. Make sure you don't come back with an attitude again Master Yuan Shao."
He Jin said finally. They were both arrogant, stuck up and full of their own egos. Their rivalry could promote alot of strength in the justice. He Jin would keep a firm eye upon them both. He scratched his chin before placing his brush back to the paper and continued his work.

Yuan Shao gave a long and cold stare at He Jin. "So be it..." With that Yuan Shao left He Jin to return to his quarters.

Fengxian strode up to the Imperial Palace with a blank stare. People all around him were staring and whispering amongst themselves about the massive man known as Lu Bu. He stepped up the stairs, taking 2 stairs at a time due to his massive stride.
A general dressed in gold passed him on his way up. Lu Bu took little notice as he came upon the two remaining men in the doorway. He stood before them, casting a shadow across their bodies. His clasped his hands together with a slight bow, the cultural sign of a salute.
"You must be He Jin! I am Lu Bu! I have come here to ask for permission to lead the next attack on the puny rebels!"

He Jin laughed, Lu Fengxian came to him. He had heard a few stories about the man but had yet to see him in true work. He wasn't much yet but he could be if he put his mind to it. Not being a regional lord or anyone of huge power yet He Jin judged the situation. He couldn't yet be trusted. He stroked his face.
"Welcome Lu Bu, I have heard much about you."
He smiled, willing to get on the good side of the man before sitting down and listening to him. It seemed the man was against the Yellow Scarves too, no doubt. Good.
"We share a common foe, I'm glad you have sided alongside the Han. I give permission for you to lead any attacks against the Yellow Turbans and I also give you permission to take 500 of the Imperial army to do so."
He said, passing a small note to him so he could collect him. It wasn't as much as Gongsun Zan or Yuan Shao. But Lu Bu wasn't as much as them yet. Plus Lu Bu could probably do more with a smaller force. He Jin bowed to him before dismissing him gently, giving permission for him to eradicate the Yellow Turbans.

A flower would rise and fall like the passing seasons. They were eternal, forever flourishing regardless of the circumstances presented to their flock, yes – flowers were a magnificent thing. They bloomed in times of peace and withered when the season would turn dark, and then a few seasons later they would flourish again, creating a never ending cycle of life and death. Humans were very similar to flowers, they would all die eventually – but where one died another would be there to fill in the gaps, and Cao Cao was lucky to be one of those lucky citizens to fill the boots of a magistrate.
He had not done it alone, on the contrary – he had educated himself from an early age, doing pranks and practical jokes on the elders of his small county of Qiao. Back then, he could reminiscence in the days of old, where men did not march to war and when men in yellow turbans did not destroy the life he had sought to build.
Now, sitting within the Imperial City of Luo Yang, he smiled. He did not think of the similarities between nature and humans, but it was there – and he could not help but smile at it, to taste it and feel its grips. He would flourish, and the world would come crumbling to his feet – for that was what he was told. He was an able minister in peace, and a hero of chaos in war. It seemed fitting…it was fitting.
He bowed his head as he greeted another guard, and was granted the permission to state his case to the emperor and his many eunuchs. He was unaware of who he would speak with, but as he led the way to the room he bowed his head to the authority figure of He Jin, a man he could recognise behind the pleasantries of existence. This was a man willing to change the world, to remove the blight that now flourished in his gardens.
“My lord.” He bowed his head as he spoke the words, his face firm and his eyes beset by the anger he had felt. “I am Cao Cao, born of Qiao and led astray by the city of Chen Liu – I have witnessed death my liege, and I am pained from the heritage of my fore-fathers and ancestors.”
He spoke clearly, pausing only to settle the tension his words may have brought. He was not a known man, but there had been many rumours of a hero of chaos, many rumours of a man with both power and intellect. He hoped he was not a disappointment.
“I have come to seek the blessing of the Han in my quest, for the city of Chen Liu, once governed by my ancestors is now in ruins – a desolate city feigning peace in the name of this Yellow heathen.”
He knelt on one leg, and thudded his fist into the battle-garb he had adorned for the meeting, “I do not know the situation of my liege lord, nor do I doubt the power to his highness the emperor or his many advisors, but the court has called for aid – and I have come with the 400 men I was able to rally in hopes of lending you my sword and spirit. I am a trained scholar and warrior, and those of Qiao and Chen Liu who remain can vouch for my rate of success. I have met with men like those who lead the Yellow Turbans, and I do not intend to be bested by their superior numbers.”
He nodded again, and then awaited a response. He would be blunt today, for tomorrow he sought bloodshed…lots and lots of bloodshed.

The journey was long, yet the motive was that of peace. From the age of seventeen, Sun Jian, known as the Tiger of Jiangdong after the encounter with the pirates, wanted to eradicate any foe that came to destroy the people that were leaving peacefully back home. Now he had decided to come to the aid of the Han.
The lands of Jiangdong were not owned by the Han, as they are currently neutral in the affairs of the Yellow Turbans. However, the message of the Yellow Turbans continues to spread across the land, and once he noticed them spreading their evil in the district across the river, he could no longer lay back in peace and allow this to happen all round him.
As he entered the city of Luo Yang after a hard and long journey, he marvelled at the sight of the Imperial city, the home and center of the Han Dynasty, which had long been standing and brought peace to the land, but now even the Han and neutral regions, now see that changes are happening and that the Yellow Turban rebels must be stopped.
"I am Sun Jian of Jiangdong, please allow me entrance so I may speak with the noble commander, He Jin", he announced to the Palace Guards, who seeing him as a stranger, but a friendly one at that, allowed him entrance, after they noticed him bow his head a little in respect to show he had no ill intentions.
After he passed the gates, he made his way to the Palace, as he tied his horse to the stables where he would be well-groomed, before entering the palace but noticed he was already talking with someone, so he decided to wait until he was avaliable.
