Yuan Shu arrives in Nan Pi

Liao thought of what Yuan Shu said, Well Yuan Shu why must the people respect you and your brother, yes we should respect the Yuan Family of the past, but what have you and Yuan shao done to earn the people's respect, I said as I walked besides Kaihime, and this innocent woman is an example to why you must show respect to the people to get there respect the way you have been insulting her and yes she did to but only for defend herself from your insults, now one can say who started who started what, but the fact is this is not your land so you can't punish other people, right?

[Yuan Shu]

"I do not care of you're indifferent opinions, sir. That does not excuse the insulting comments from this woman, and yours, too!"

Shu said, getting angrier by the minute.

"You do not think me, or my brother have earned respect, hmm? Conquering lands, making diplomatic relations with other leaders and the villagers are just some of the things we Yuans do to earn respect here. You are a fool, Sir Liao."

Gonglu still felt insulted. Liao now is saying it is OK to be rude to a lord, and saying, since it is not Shu's territory, that means the comments don't matter.

"Again you think that it is all right to disrespect me and my family just because it is my brother's territory. I do wish my brother, Lord Yuan Shao was here to straighten this pathetic argument out, but Yuans are busy men and women, and we do not normally consult with common townspeople!"

"It is my brother's kingdom. He would agree with me on this. Again, my BROTHER'S kingdom. You have no power here, good sir. Why is it you believe you do?"

He was starting to get mad, he didn't want to kill anyone but he would if he has to, he walks up to Yuan Shuand puts his arm over him, you know it is not wise to shout at a peasant in public, i mean what does that say about the great and powerful Yuan Shu of the noble Yuan family, shouting at a peasant woman who probably is smart at all. I said as I continued my speech, But lord Yuan Shu, you can stand out in your families legacy, but it could be shattered if you continue this with a peasant, I said as I got some coins out, Isn't there a bar somewhere in this town come Great Lord I will buy you some drinks, what do you say, I said with a big smile on my face hoping he would say yes

Zhang Liao started walking up to Yuan Shu. He figured Liao was going to attack, so he began to signal his guards... But he instead put his arm on Shu's shoulder, and began speaking.

Hmph. Shu's guards went back to their posts, and Gonglu listened carefully to Liao as he was speaking.

Zhang Liao made his offer seem practical, and even the arrogant Yuan knew that this argument was getting a little mediocre.

"Hmph..." Shu was a little embarrassed to admit it. "... I suppose you are correct... This argument over a mere girl is getting slightly out-of-hand, Sir. And I agree, that potentially hurting my reputation as the strongest and most glorious of the Yuans, over a dumb argument with a peasant girl and a common warrior is pretty stupid...." Liao then offered to take him to a local bar. " Very well, I suppose I can use a drink or two. Where's the best bar in town?" Lord Yuan said, sarcastically. He knew there likely wasn't one good bar in this pathetic city.

Liao had to think but he couldn't think of one, Maybe you should ask one of your guards, I asked, I also think that we should bring the girl along so that she can apologies to you, I said knowing the only way to get the arrogant nobles is to praise them and side with them to make amends

[Yuan Shu]

Exactly, Shu thought. There isn't one good tavern in this damned city! "Ha Ha!" He let out an awkward.. laugh, out loud.

When Liao advised the peasant come with him and Liao, Shu said:

"Hmm, Very well. The girl best apologize to me and my family. We deserve it. Also, she should apologize to you for being so kind and getting yourself in potential trouble. Come then."

Yuan Shu nudged Zhang Liao to scout the city for a decent bar.

kaihime sat eating her meat bun calmly watching the two men take over the conversation. Now it truely was like watching a play unfold before her. The two men engaged in an argument of sorts, just when she thought that the battle of words was going to turn into one of swords the situation died down again and she somehow found herself being whisked along to a tavern for drinks.

come on Kaihime, I asked, it'll be fun right? I said as I stood her up, besides we have to talk, I said as we walked

[Yuan Shu]

As Yuan Shu finished speaking to Liao, he turned his attention toward the woman... Shu was surprised she hadn't stepped in. She was a calm woman, indeed. Gonglu began to regret some of the things he had said about her. He was usually polite to women, even when they were rude, but something about her made him feel insulted from her comments. Maybe it was his arrogance, Shu would likely never even know.

As he came back from his thinking, He began speaking to the woman:

"Come, now, we will go to the local tavern. I will buy you a drink... You will apologize to me and Liao for the way you acted, do you not agree this is a reasonable proposal?"

He stared at the woman while waiting for a reply. He wondered if Liao agreed with the statement he just made.

[kaihime]

Kaihime stopped walking and stood tall, her facial expression changing to that of seriousness. ((she says his name wrong on purpose to be teasing XD)) "Yuan Bu i am extremely sorry for my actions. It was incredibly rude and extremely insensitive of me. It's just............it was a really good meat bun and i didn't want to share. Otherwise i would have offered you some"

Kaihime's lips curled into a smile as she saw the reaction on Shu's face.

I chuckle a little knowing what she was doing, Well how about that bar right there, I point out trying to avoid another verbal fight

[Yuan Shu]

Yuan Shu could tell the woman was mispronouncing his name to anger him and it didn't work. After Shu had thought about the argument and how pathetic it was, he was not as mad as he previously was. He figured he would chat with these commoners about the argument if they must, though he stuck to his initial decision - Kaihime should make an honest apology.

After Shu heard her jokingly say something about whatever gross food she was eating all the time Liao and he were arguing, Shu became slightly irritated.

" Please, You would not want to start yet another argument, My lady now would you?" Yuan Shu said, sarcastically.

He turned towards Liao "Why don't you keep your pet on a leash?" Shu said, arrogantly.

The smirk on the woman's face was insulting, yet adorable to him, knowing she was joking now.

Zhang Liao then proceeded to laugh about her teases, and then advise an average looking bar across the street.

In response to the snickering: "Quiet your mouth, sir, or I'll do it myself." Shu said daringly, out of irritation from the two.

"Fine. Let's see if this at least contains a...small population of grotesque drunks." Yuan Shu said, with a grin on his face.

He turned around to find Kaihime close behind.

"Surprising", he thought.

Kaihime had decided that this Yuan fellow was about as stuck up his own ass as he could get, and she found pleasure in annoying just such those types. She had noticed that several townspeople were watching the group as they walked together down the streets. They were whispering and gossiping among them, Hmmm i suppose it is quite important for a man such as this to keep his appearances up in public, being seen with a woman would only spark rumours Kaihime's face twisted with a gleam of cheekiness. She sped up her pace and closed the distance between her and the Yuan fellow. She was following but a metre behind. i don't suppose it would be detrimental for one such as he to be seen with a beggar such as me ((she is saying beggar to refer to what yuan said earlier))

I open the doors for Yuan Shu and Kaihime so they can get in and followed them, he sat at a table with them and asked the waiter to get 2 cups of sake and 1 tea, he came back with them and put thim at the table, Zhang Liao grabs the tea and starts to drink, so first off why don't we have a toast? I suggest to them

Hmph, This woman is smarter than she looks... Yuan Shu thought as the woman began trailing behind him, mumbling words and attempting to tear his reputation to peices.

This will be to no avail... Shu thought.

For now, Gonglu would ignore the gestures. "Hey, girl," Lord Yuan started "I have known you for what, an entire day now and I still do not know your name. Tell me it, now if you would."

As he spoke, they arrived at the tavern and Liao led the group inside. It was an average-looking bar, filled with many villagers and a few drunks. The peasants looked on with awe as the infamous leader, valiant knight and stunning maiden walked through the tavern.

Shu completely ignored these peasants, and the group made way to a small table. Liao then suggested they make a toast. Lord Gonglu felt nothing wrong with it.

"All right, I suppose."
