That sound. It was all too familiar, the sound of horses. Cavalry was never something that he favored, even though he had indeed trained several of his men in the arts of horseback combat. Maybe his natural culture just wasn't used to that; a culture that he had abandoned and burned down a long while ago. Turning his head to face the lone rider rapidly approaching from the west, Wei Yan's eyes narrowed as he attempted to figure out from a distance who the cavalryman placed his loyalties to.

Scouts? No, impossible. As far as Wei Yan assumed, the Coalition should hold enough of the mountain pass to prevent that. But then, how often did he receive reports? Never. One would never be too safe to make assumptions. The warrior lowered his stance ever so slightly as his body turned full to face to the rider, hand ready to reach for the voulge if necessary. A feeling of slight relief came over him as he realized that the rider rode of the crimson banner, none other than from Wu of Jiang Dong.

Were the southerners not content with how Si Shui Gate was left for Wei Yan to take over for the glory? Was it that difficult to place trust in an ally? If they had indeed sent quite public spies on their own comrades, then surely this coalition was bound to fall. Not that any coalition lasted forever.

But to quite his surprise, the messenger simply greeted him with a single message, a message written in haste by the looks of it. As the cavalryman rode off once more without a single moment to look back, Wei Yan stood alone in the snowy fields as he opened up the piece of folded paper.

He nodded quietly to himself before tossing the letter into the snow, the white tone of the paper blending in perfectly with the snow. He had nowhere to store belongings unnecessary to keep, and he had no leisure to engage in a paper and brush conversation. Actions would prove to do what the pen could not. Wei Yan turned his head to face the siege base.

What took them so long?

[Tsuki (Ancient One)]

Tsuki continued forward to enter the seige base in hope of finding something interesting to take that could cause some damage on the battlefield. Her undying desire to fight and kill was driving her mad, she needed to fight sooner rather than later otherwise it was more than likely that she would turn upon her own allies. Her breathing was quick and heavy and the glint in her eyes showed that she was thirsty for blood.

Tsuki was a bringer of chaos and she needed to relieve her hunger.

[Cao Cao]

"Keep up the pace men, we must get to this base before the enemy does! We need some sort of defense from the enemy if they come!"Zhi yelled this at his men as he looked back at them. They were beginning to slow down, Zhi could not afford to waste more time."Clavary men, let us ride ahead to the base. When we occupy it, a couple of you shall go back to help the rest of our troops get to the base. let's ride!"Zhi kicked his horse, and it went faster. Zhi just hoped it would be fast enough.

[Zhang Smith]

Zhang Smith and his troops believed they had made some good progress through the mountain tops. He could see that his men were starting to move at a slower pace then usual. "Hm.... The men must be getting a little tired, this is so pretty thick snow. MEN STOP!" Smiths troops looked back at him. "We will stop and take a break here, catch your breath and relax, I want you in tip top condition for battle. Smith could hear the sigh of relief from his troops. Smith knew that outside this path, he could be outnumbered, however he believed he had the best troops in all of China.

Smith gave Hunter a signal and hunter took the archers off into the distance

Upon entering the seige base ahead of her Kaihime sighed in relief, now was their chance to rest. She had hurried herself and her troops to the base and she could tell it had taken it's toll on them all. She could see that the base was already well defended with several troopes of Lu Xiangs doing so vigilantly. However she could not see their leader, where was Lu Xiang? After asking one of his troops her thought was confirmed, he had rode out towards Hu Lao gate. Kaihime turned and gave her troops a reassuring smile, "alright we rest here for now. Everyone rest up and prepare to defend this base. It will not fall!!" Kaihime rallied her troops spirits as she ordered half of them to take the outer walls and the other half to spread out in the base, keep their eyes and ears open and rest for now.

Kaihime motioned for one of her messengers to approach her and gave them a message "please inform Lord Takiri that my troops and i have arrived safely at the seige base and will be defending it for now." Kaihime looked over to the rather creepy Tsuki and laughed nervously before turning back to the messenger "And let him know that tsuki and her troops have arrived safely as well and that we will keep him informed" Kaihime knew that Tsuki would not send a messenger to keep her lord informed...she wasn't the type to think that way. So for now she would do so in her stead.

((Summary: * Kaihime has arrived a the seige base (not sure how to describe which one it is but on the map you can see which one i mean)
* Kaihime has seperated her troops, half inside the base and half outside and they are resting for now while preparing to defend the base.
* Kaihime has sent a messenger to the main camp (Her lord Takiri) to inform him of her whereabouts and Tsuki's whereabouts)

The coalition wins as they do historically. Dong Zhuo is killed by Lu Bu and the allies break up every lord thinking about himself. Sun Jian finds the imperial seal which causes further distrust when he refuses to hand it over to Yuan Shao.
