New Beginnings (Zhang Liao)

[Cao Cao]

Zhi woke up from his slumber, yawing as he did so. Zhi got up and streched for a little while. After doing this, Zhi walked out of his tent and looked around the campsite that he was at. Everywhere you looked, you saw camps. Though there was a lot more before the battle of Hu Lao. Though that was in the past, and Zhi did not linger on the past, well not all the time.

Zhi yelled,"Okay men, time to pack up, we are heading out to Xu Chang!!"After he yelled, men ran out of their tents carrying supplies all around the camp. He stopped a couple soldiers, and asked them,"Lead me to Zhang Liao please."The soldiers nodded at Zhi and began to lead him to Liao's tent."Haha, time to see if Liao is a morning person."Said Zhi jokingly, trying to get these soldiers to loosen up.

[Zhang Liao]

Liao was awake in his tent, he didn't like the mornings almost as much as he didn't like bandits. He got out of his bed washed his face and was putting on his armor when he heard Zhi Fang heading towards him.

He puts on his chest and leg armor plates, but leaves his helmet of for the moment. He stepped outside carrying his helmet at his side. So Lord Zhi Fang, are you prepared to head towards Xu Chang? Liao asked as he got his helmet ready

[Cao Cao]

"Yes I am ready to go. How long should it take for your troops to get ready to go? It should take my men only a few more minutes."As Zhi said this, he made a gesture telling Liao to lead the way.

Liao walked toward the stables,It will take my men 20 min. or so but after that we shall be ready, He said as he finally got to the stables and got his White Stallion Yin.

[Cao Cao]

Zhi followed behind Liao and got onto Zhi's own horse. While he was getting settled in, he patted horse, this horse has been with Zhi for a very long time. He turned his head to Liao, saying,"You wanna head out now, and scout ahead a little bit and let the troops catch up, or do you want to wait for them? I am ready to go now, though it is up to you."

[Zhang Liao]

Liao got settled up on his horse, he heard Zhi Fangs question, Yes I think we should, we tell the men to wait about an hour before the follow behind us, he said as he started to ride

[Cao Cao]

Zhi nodded his head and kicked his horse forward. After they left the vicinity of the camp, Zhi said to Liao,"So, do you still paln on going back to Wu?"Zhi was curious, wanting to know if Liao changed his mind after having the night to think about it. Zhi himself was still not sure himself where he would go after Xu Chang, but Zhi would just go wherever he felt where he should go. Zhi would let his heart and his gut feeling's guide him for this part, since after all, they were all Zhi really had left.

[Zhang Liao]

Liao was still planning on going to Wu to fulfill his promise, Yes I still plan on going to Wu after Xu Chang but you never know what might happen. he still had a few concerns on going back

[Cao Cao]

"I have been thinking about it, and I might just go to Sun Jian too. Maybe I am just over-reacting about not being able to go back. Though I have not made my choice yet."As Zhi said this, he looked at Liao and smiled.

[Zhang Liao]

Liao was happy to find out his friend was considering Wu now. He slows down alittle so his horse can rest for awhile." So what changed your mind about Wu", Liao asked, wondering i he should go there by himself

[Cao Cao]

"I am not really sure. Maybe I realized that I was just being unresonable and I should give it another try. I really do miss Jiang Dong and the people of Wu..."As Zhi said this, he began to reminese about all the fun times he had in Wu, all the people he met and when he first met Sun Jian. He truly missed all of it and Zhi was thinking that maybe it was time for him to return to Wu.

[Zhang Liao]

Liao was glad to hear, that his long time friend was going with him to Wu, So we do have a plan after all, regroup at Xu Chang and head toward Wu to rejoin our former lord.

They started to ride and soon come up to the city, liao turned back and said, I hope our men don't get lost, he said in a joking manner

[Cao Cao]

"Yes, we should regroup at Xu Chang, it is there when I will decide where I shall go. Haha, I hope not, we can't afford to lose them."Zhi said this with a wink. Zhi kicked his horse foward to Xu Chang. In a little while, they should begin to see Xu Chang's gates.

[Zhang Liao]

They soon arrived at the main gate, were the guards just let them in, Liao didn't feel comfortable with it but oh well they were in Xu Chang. Hey Zhu Fang, i think we should hit one of the local bars so we can pass the time? he asked as he looked around the busy street

[Cao Cao]

Zhi Fang got off his horse and tied it up at the stables. Zhi looked around the city and replied to Liao,"Sure, if we can find it. If you do not mind, you can lead the way."As Zhi said this, he swung his arm foward, telling Liao to take the lead.
